Well now were the ones making a big deal about this. lets see if unitronic is calling him to make sure he gets the best out of the car.

Ill be 100% honest. The JHM files are not dyno files. While this is hard to explain to the people who lack any real understanding of automotive depth. Im not saying that is the case with you guys Im just saying that most people think that the dyno somehow tells the entire story. While it can tell part of a section of how your car is running its not even close to the picture. You can do really neat tricks in the tune to make the dyno read well. The large amount of tuners who tune on a dyno just learn how to make the ECU program show on the dyno so it reads well when tested. That never seems translates to true hp on the road.

This isn’t to say that a dyno car can’t be fast. This isn’t to say if you do well on the dyno your going to not do well on the street. There is just more to it then that.

dude, its more than just dyno power. the JHM tune is more than just power. I dynod only 6 hp more than i did with the revo tune but the difference in accel is huge for different reasons that. The ecu has a torque limiter integrated in order to limit accel that all these cookie cutter tunes do not disable but JHM does race him from a 1st gear roll and walk him. if you beat him at the track he’ll just call foul on driver error. eliminate that by eliminating the launch and video your car pulling hard on him. Let him get catless dp’s too and youll still walk away from him. Also make sure your car is up to par in terms of maintenance because that could also be a reason why hes even close to you on the dyno. but regardless, fuck the dyno, pull his ass on the street. if you dont, ill buy you a coke lol

JHM tune just makes you faster (and more powerful)…but more on the faster side. Dynamics in and out of gear…little things. Very deep tune.

I had your setup basically minus intake mani, and ran 12.9 on a coolspring day (but with Fast Intentions catback). You need to step up and be the next B6/7 in the 12s.

that next b6/b7 in the 12’s is actully my goal id like to post the fatset b6/b7 on dp but we shall see

2.5 inch exhaust with x-pipe should be your next mod. you can get good money for that awe. what would be cool is see what you run with the awe and then switch it to a 2.5" cat-back and go back to the track so you can see the improvement for yourself. look at what a huge difference it made on Justincredible’s car. it would do the same for you especially since you have the JHM IM

yes still is, its a fantastic exhaust. 2.5", straight as an arrow with dynomax mufflers. Fast Intentions X-pipe and 16" resonators.

sounds great Ryan. ill get you some pics tonight. Even if you dont buy mine, a 2.5" with an x-pipe is a fantastic upgrade for you. since you already have dyno numbers with the awe, it would be great to see how much you gain with a 2.5 plus x and show all the naysayers.

sweet 91 im looking forward to seeing the pics. like i said about the 1/4 i was going to do with the dyno to see if there is any diffrences in hp and torque. but numbers are not my big concern manily 1/4 mile times.

very excited to see the before/after times, not many times have we had a chance to see the before/after from 2.25" to 2.5" with no other changes. Granted the 2.25" fans will still claim that the car is heavily modded, blah blah blah, and that it doesnt apply.

just a way to shut some people up and have some good hard evidence in both the dyno and 1/4 to show them that it really makes a difference. since most those clowns are sold on dyno numbers alone, we’ll give them just that

I read that you also haev an open hot air cone intake dude. You’re going to get roasted in here lol. Just kidding. Everyone wants you to be FAST.

Maybe try to re-install your stocker if you have it? If not, find a stock airbox. They’re hard to find so be patient. Contac tthe dealer parts counter to get a price. I think they’re kind of expensive…but you never know.

The hit air intake is also a test of mine for say I have the stock box and all the peices but thats onr thing I just cant beileve so im going to test my theroy
