so you went 13.14…also excellent. Great conditions are a great opportunity to post good times. Can you please post all of the info including your best timeslip so I can add you to the list.
differences between you and Ryan respectively:
stock manifold vs. JHM Intake Manifold
normal wheels + JHM LW rotors vs. heavy wheels and stock rotors (although knowing your wheel/tire setup and his down to the size would help)
2.5 FI catback vs. 2.25 AWE catback
Most importantly we will need to see your 60 foot time. That’s the make or break measure in your time. You two might be dead even otherwise, but if he cuts a 1.73 while you are 2.03, that right there is the difference between your two 1/4 ET times.
whats interesting is how a jhm IM equates to a 2.5" cat-back. basically you guys are neck and neck like saki mentioned. im sure ryan will greatly benefit from a 2.5 cb since he has the extra air coming into the motor that needs to get out. euroswaggr, any other plans for your car? you both seem to have very strong cars and would like to see you both progress.
I’m on stock BBS CO with 235/40/18’s, he also has a LWFW and clutch, I’m on the stocker still.
I was pulling decent 60ft in my opinion and the car felt strong down low, but I could fell it loosing power up top. I was shifting at or right before 6500 so maybe better shifting could have then me into the 12’s. Launches felt good, but Ryan was getting off the line way fast.
ya man, JHM LWFW and stage 4 clutch with shifter trio and the IM in the very near future…truthfully I have the money to go all out, but I’m separating from the Marine Corps in June and want to have cash on hand just in the case that I don’t get a job right away. But if I do get a job right out the gate, I plan on being another JHM supercharged car. I would do headers…timing chains and guides and the supercharger all at once.
Just more FYI on my car, it’s a 2006 with just over 60,000 miles, I’ve owned it since it had 28,000. I take really good care of her so hopefully she will be around for a while.
awesome, cant wait to have another header/sc car out there. you both have very strong cars, its exciting seeing you both have success. it inspires me to get out there
6500 is perfect for your modlist. It’s hard to shift there because you’re tempted to push it much harder. You can push 1st a little farther but 2-3 and 3-4 go at or near 6500.

I bet there is .2 in there somewhere that I could find with more seat time, but I’d rather upgrade my clutch before I go back. But I have to say Saki, your car must have been running amazing the day you trapped 107!! Thanks for all the advice too!!
ya but I think your manifold is helping that out a lot, not to mention your flywheel is half the weight as mine. I just meant Sakimano’s car and mine were basically the same exact mods and he pulled a 107 on his best run.
Here’s my old 12.9 slip. You can see that our first gear is almost the same but I pick up a couple of hundredths on you to 60 feet (60 foot is around the top of first) then I pick up most of a tenth on you in 2nd gear (from 2-5 seconds basically). Then a little tiny bit more in the 2nd quarter (330 feet to the 1/8th. My time from the 1/8th to 1/4 was 4.68 seconds…yours was 4.70 seconds. Almost identical. You can see the MPH gap is all established in the first half of the track. At the 1/8th I’m at 84.6 and you’re at 81.5. That’s a 3.1 MPH gap…and at the 1/4 it’s only 2.7 MPH
That’s basically the gap (12.995 vs. 13.14 = 0.145).
thanks for the comparison man, and 13.14 feels so far away from a 12.9X, but kind of like I said earlier…with a little more seat time and smoother shifts, or maybe taking first out a little longer I would be right there with you.
