I understand that this guy has priorities that are keeping him from the track, but I’m chompin at the bit to see his 1/4 times. Also, I thought I read somewhere that he was selling the car? If that’s true, I hope he actually sacks up and gets to the track before that.

there was a B8 S4 owner who was trash talking the B7 as an unmoddable 14 second car on a thread and I said ‘my B7 with just a tune and full exhaust is every bit as fast as any stock B8 S4’. He got real cocky, and said ‘come to the next meet you can drive my B8 S4 to see…the cars are night and day. Then we’ll have a race and you’ll be eating my dust’.
So I challenged him to come to the dragstrip and back that up and he was game and talking about when would be the most convenient date to go etc. When I posted a ‘by the way, here are my 12.9 video and timeslips’, he got real quiet real quick. He never made it to the track of course.
So he just messaged back on facebook afyer I invited him to come iut on the 4th and he said ill check my schedule. Just an fyi

He said on AZ that he is working 70 hour weeks to support his family. Always happens when the dragstrip is in the picture. Of course he was able to take a whole day to go to the dyno…family didn’t need him on that day I guess.

in the main forum page listing all the threads, just double click an inch to the right of the last word in your title. It should allow you to fix it.

They don’t let you fix it. I made the same mistake not too long ago. Went to edit it right after posting and the title wouldn’t change in the main thread listing. Drove me crazy >:(

you click (or double click) to the right of your thread title, in the main forum with the listing of all the threads. That’s how it is supposed to be on VB

Just report your own post and put in the message what you want the mods to change the title to. That’s how I do it. The forum only lets you change the title once the thread is opened up

it has the neck down so that will need to be cut off. I asked about v8s4ryan’s downpipe neckdown but can’t remember what he said. That kind of welding etc. might be $100 at a good exhaust shop.
