Was a nice and exciting win for the US, even though they were really outplayed pretty bad… 21-8 on shots though many of them weren’t technically shots on goal… 60-40 on time of possesion, etc. A win is a win though… If we can tie Portugal we should march on assuming Germany doesn’t beat us by 5+ goals… lol
‘wipe out’ would be ‘obliterate’. 
Like the US will obliterate Portugal from the world cup by defeating them if Germany wins against Ghana.
We need to keep possession to control the pace of the game. Too many give always. We also need to hesitate less about shooting when in the box. I hope there won’t be anymore cramps. Next game is in Manaus I think.

Yeah the fact that he just walked away after the guy was trying to show it to him was ridiculous. That and the other Uruguay player that pulled up his jersey to cover it back up was bogus too.
And the US is through to the round of 16! We made it out of the group of death!
So what are the chances that the US actually advances beyond the next round? I really don’t follow soccer, but if there’s reason to be hopeful for team USA, then I’m in.
They have a chance against Belgium but I don’t think they’ll get past Argentina.
