Well AR, I decided to let the S4 go yesterday. I gave the kid a killer deal, but it is all for the better right now. I took the money and paid off my wife’s new Q5 so that is always a good feeling.

I really just felt like S4s are going to drop in price so much it wasn’t worth waiting for JHMs motor build program. It was time to move on…but it’s only a matter of time until I have another Audi in the garage.

For now I’ll be on the lookout for Misano Red RS4 and I’ll be giving the Ecoboost some love…I’ll probably have a 12 second crew cab 4WD truck by Christmas…haha

I’ll still be around, figured I would let everyone know about the change…still have the Q5 though, haha

Good decision. You were basically just hanging on to a depreciating asset that you weren’t driving enough.

Ya very true Saki and thanks Beem. The baby is also due in 8 weeks so it may be a few months before I get in an RS, but I will happen.

The car will probably go to waste, but it was still in amazing condition. First thing the buyer said was, “ya I’m prolly gonna turbo this thing soon” I told him the issues and referred him to The JHM supercharger kit…but he was young and dumb.

I almost told him nevermind when he showed up yesterday and asked me if I was sure it wasn’t an A4, not an S4 because his friend said all S4s were turbo. I just laughed and said your friend is an idiot, dot ever listen to him again. I told him VINs don’t lie, he can call Audi right now, but he said “ok, just checking”

I’m not sure if he is a forum goer…honestly I hope he is not. One thing he does have going for him is he already has a very tastefully modded B7…but he is a honda/most recently cobalt ss guy so we will see. My good buddy asked me the other day if I will be pissed to see the car around town riced out or something. I guess I will be more disappointed than anything.

Like I said, time to move on…already looking at RS4s, but it may be a while. I’ll focus on giving the ecoboost some love.

That’s awesome for you though and glad you were able to find a buyer. Agree there is no sense in letting it sit, especially with a kid on the way. I’m sure they will appreciate the work you put in. You kept damn good care of that car.

Euroswagr happy for you and devistated all at the same time. I whould have cut off the deal if that happened ot me. Good for you. 8 weeks you will feel much better knowing your set with the Q5. Maybe hit up JHM and have them give that some pep you can rep that till the RS is found.

please stay your one of hte great members that keeps me loving my car. We don’t want the kind of people getting the car that you sold to so your part of the problem… you said you were getting a RS so Ill let that one pass…

Chris, I seriously almost told him never mind, but I just wanted to move on. I will be way happier in a JHM charged RS so that is the end game plan. I’ll leave the Q5 as is, but the Eco…may become a beast soon…haha

No the Q5 isn’t red…haha I’m not even sure that is an option

It’s Monsoon Grey Metallic S-line black optic package…They don’t offer the black trim package in '13 or '14, otherwise it may have been traded for the 3.0T already. My wife doesn’t need a 12s grocery getter though…trust me.

How good would a Daytona Grey titanium package RS look next to the Q?

I’ve also been looking at RS4s but my wife would kill me since we got her a brand new golf R.
My car sits too, which sucks but my honda gets 30mpg and it ain’t slow.

I’ve had thoughts of selling but I couldn’t do it before I had another “fun car”(rs4). Your truck will be entertaining but I think we’ll see you pop up in a "Just bought an RS4” thread soon enough.

Exactly…money talks and his was green, I don’t have forever to wait around and see if the built motor program is a success, which I’m confident it will be and it’s too damn quiet in the B6/7 world. I’d also honestly rather be in an RS4 in the end. I will still be around to help regulate the retards…haha, but they are overtaking the people that give a shit at an alarming rate.

Like I’ve mentioned…we will get some Ecoboost love for now. Just ordered some aesthetic parts (wheels, leveling kit) and as soon as I sell the stock 20s I will be doing catless DPs, tune, filter, etc…I hope to run low 13s high 12s when it cools down. I could be happy with that until a nice RS4 comes around.
