I’ve had thoughts of selling but I couldn’t do it before I had another “fun car”(rs4). Your truck will be entertaining but I think we’ll see you pop up in a "Just bought an RS4” thread soon enough.

Exactly…money talks and his was green, I don’t have forever to wait around and see if the built motor program is a success, which I’m confident it will be and it’s too damn quiet in the B6/7 world. I’d also honestly rather be in an RS4 in the end. I will still be around to help regulate the retards…haha, but they are overtaking the people that give a shit at an alarming rate.
Like I’ve mentioned…we will get some Ecoboost love for now. Just ordered some aesthetic parts (wheels, leveling kit) and as soon as I sell the stock 20s I will be doing catless DPs, tune, filter, etc…I hope to run low 13s high 12s when it cools down. I could be happy with that until a nice RS4 comes around.
If he does buy one he should instead not say anything and let flying retards, raudiposer and the other rs4 snobs put their feet in their mouths with their usual ‘what do you know, you don’t own an rs4’ douchebaggery.

I don’t know man, prices are all over the place. Most S4 owners think they have a gem and are trying to get RS4 prices, what they actually sell at…who knows??
I’d say $10-15k depending on how optioned the RS is. You can pick up some decent RS4s with around 70k miles for low 30s.
BTW mbt aka maddog aka Madison sold his S4 to a guy local to me. It’s currently at JHM getting the JHM timing service and heads. Seems like a good dude. Have yet to meet him in RL though
$10k, that is so fucked up, but most dealers don’t want to touch cars close to 100k miles. They usually give you shit and then sell them off to smaller dealers. Plus the dealer probably knew the thing could be a ticking time bomb and knows just how much they are to fix.
Hell I would have given him $10K and sent it straight to JHM for a motor build.
Yea the guy who bought mine is posting around a bit. I hadn’t heard of him much before he popped up to by the Audi. Talked to him on the phone a good bit, seems like a pretty good guy and knows whats up. It had turned out that he’d already ordered heads, chain kit, and headers for his car, then saw mine for sale, told JHM to just install the parts on my car since he already bought them, and to do an overhaul on it for good measure while they were in there. I didn’t have any ticking noise etc, but at 100k, you just never know. So it’s getting the preventative treatment most of these cars require and a once over by the best people in the business. New owner should be pretty setup though and ready to go!
