Exactly that dusche is as smart as the last thing he stole…I think you got suckered to be honest. You dont need to tune your car more then once…it should just be once and done…I know the diy guys dont know much but they try…out of all the bums and hacks out there there is a few good standoiuts…it would be great if you kept documenting what your doing over here will all the stuff…that way guys who dont wamt to sift though the bs on az can get a more clear picture on how its all done…regardless of what information is on the audizoo
I have a tuner and Im slowly learning it from him. Its crazy though. Reading it in a HEX editor looks ike the MATRIX and is mega confusing for me, but so easy to him lol.
And yes I will be running a Sport Mode TCU that will be tuned…
Im currently testing TIP files on my stock TCU and its pretty amazing. Can really tweak it.
Also going to try a launch assist for an automatic…like a 2 step…will need to add a clutch switch and whatnot to fake ecu. But thats down the road

Anyway…I did not get suckered and he is not my tuner. I know N E F is not condoned here so I’m going to skip that part. As for the one and done tune comment. Thats bullshit. How do you think JHM, APR and other do there tuning. You think they just whip it up and thats that. No testing, logs and revisions? Come on now. Yeah when they finally finish there product its one and done flash. But to get that there was extensive testing and logging. And even then sometimes there are revisions released down the road

seriously? I don’t even know why this conversation is happening. You guys assumed he was my tuner! And why are you bringing up stealing? Nothing on in in my car including the TUNES are stolen material.
Again Chris, you think i need to flash a ton of times while figuring out how to tune? You are terribly mistaken. You seem to not understand. NO ONE…I REPEAT NO ONE MAKES ONE TUNE FOR A CAR AND CALLS IT A DAY! NOT DIY TUNERS OR COMPANIES! Unless there damn stupid.
Tuning requires logging, initial file, more logging, revisions, logging, then your final tune. Its not one and done. Why don’t you ask Jake @JHM if they just whipped up the ECU and TCU tune for the Audi A6 C5 4.2L without having to do logs and revisions and whatnot.
When tuning a tcu there is many many different setting you can do. And to find what shift points and setting i like i need to do multiple flashes. Its not one and done! Im about keeping reliability and not just tuning it to the max

chris maybe i took it wrong but it seemed as i was being accused of stealing tunes. No offense or hard feeling i hope. I will continue to update as i can and hopefully stay free of people bashing

Try reading his post.
First he said if your tuner is telling you he will need to make multiple revisions it’s because your tuner is learning how to tune, using your car. Not ideal.
Then he realised you are in fact your tuner, thus he understood the need for revisions…since you will be learning how to tune, on your car.
Then you flipped out, started swearing, double posting and getting all defensive. Very odd.
Anyway, enjoy ‘learning’ how to tune on n e f. It must be easy to DIY a custom tune using n e f since that’s where all the record setting audis are. Oh wait I’ve got that wrong…that’s where NONE of the record setting audis are lol. So you’re basically ‘learning’ how to suck at tuning.

The nef thing is just different. Most of the guys are crooks looking to cover up there con by trying to be creative in helping others…we all get the most of whats going on…there are some good guys like you who are jot looking to steal but to just work on your car…

I use there software and my genuine ross tech cable. That is all. And I double posted because there where a lot of typos in my first post and this is the only site I have been on that doesn’t give you and option to EDIT your posts.
