-2800 feet of DA at Island Dragway last night...

The reality is you too are polluting the thread with your BS.

The point of the thread is that at -2800 feet of DA and a great 60 foot time, what’s left on the table? The car has:

MTM downpipes
MTM catback exhaust
LW forged wheels
LW rotors on all four corners
LW battery
LW seats
JHM short shifter

This was the car that was going to do it, and that DA was frankly epic. They even teased that this car made 600 whp on the dyno.

I would have to assume they’re disappointed the car didn’t go 10s.

Sorry, I don’t have any “tricks” to show. This ain’t a damn circus.lol RS4 from the factor is a decent track setup. Didn’t require mods for me to get started. Just like people who track S4’s. It’s about driving ability not how much u can spend. That’s the difference between drag racing and road racing. You can buy success in a 1/4. But you can spend all the money u want on ur car and go out to a road course and it’s not gonna make you look good. Just ask all the R8/ZL1 etc drivers who can’t keep up with my “slow” RS.

You should take your advice and stop talking about the road course.

It would be great if everyone can stick to the topic now. PM me if u want a private/personal conversation. This is always the problem with AR and why many people choose not to come here. Nothing ever stays on topic. It’s rather sad. And no, the run was not with LW wheels.

What wheels did he have? Not his ADV or whatever they’re called?

He hasn’t posted up any information (another reason he’s not on the list). He frankly hasn’t even shown a full timeslip. The one he posted in instagram had a cropped header so you can’t even see if what track.

Is this how the car looked when he ran it? Stock ti wheels?

So since Gibby just ignores your posts with great points, I’ll reiterate

I don’t think Flyingpotatoeguns car has anything left on the table. Smaller lighter weight wheels may help, but I’m not sure they will be 10s worthy. Quite honestly if he doesn’t do it soon in epic DAs I doubt it happens at all. He has a great modlist too.

I’m also sick of the “great for his first time shit” I’d be willing to bet he has been to the strip a few times. He owns a 93TA, right? and a trailazer SS. All those guys do is hit the strip. Launching an AWD car to RWD of FWD is cake…and shifting is shifting if your not a hamfisted fuck. Ok, great for his first time in an RS4 but why does everyone think shop owners are the only people who can drive? Before the AMD car Jason couldn’t have gotte a B5 in the 11s with a rocket shoved in his ass.

Tell him to let me drive it, if anyone can get the best time out of it I think I can.

Hit him up. That would be fun to see. : )

Wait wait wait…let me get this right…you came here asked how anyone cam make fun of flyingtroll…I told you how amd why…then you said that my answe4 to your question had nothing to do with anything. …I then qhote your question and then go into details on the question you asked…you then tell me thtas not important and its not a popularity contest… no one said it’s a popularity contest…its an answer to your quesrion…then you lash out babbble about going to pm amd then say your going to road raceeveryone and best them…are you medicated…

This is a big issue for APR…why…because the guy who is now trying to back up APR and there time is a huge bullshitter amd troll…if APR would have been represented by someone not such a huge troll then chances are this wouldn’t be such a big deal…add that to a negative DA of almost 3000 feet and you have a shit storm of a troll all his past lies and then this…

I just feel sorry for APR here…this guy is just making this worse…

Auditude haven’t you had a license for like 4 years?

What does shifting fast, launching good and driving in a straight line have to do with how long I’ve had my license?

You either can shift fast and drive a car or your fists are permanently made of ham.

Also plenty of people who have had their license for 20 years and can’t drive for shit.

And I’ve hard my license for almost 7 years but who’s counting.

Lol, just taking a jab at your age and your supreme skills.

I also agree with everything you said. I’ve had a license for 14 so you make me feel fucking old.

I think he’s calling you out for basically saying you’re the best driver anywhere. It was pretty funny.

I would love to see you drive it to. Maybe you can blow up his spec clutch for him and make him get something legit.

This is the hallmark of an AR troll. When you get beat into intellectual submission, just start whining about how the forum is so unfair and “sad.” LOL. Never changes.

^^^well said!

Looks like the driver this flyingtomato posted on vendorzine and QF

I guess when he writes this, he means he hurt APR’s feelings by not beating JHM’s car which had 1/2 the boost and stock fuelling.

“First-time-ever-at-the-drag-strip-and-I-think-I-hurt-some-peoples-feelings-(GO-APR)”

I like how he feels like he has some sort of record because he was on stock wheels lol. The RS4 wheels weigh about 26.5 lbs, so they’re actually quite light for 19x9. They’re not a hinderance that’s for sure, especially with light PSS tires.

Also, for the record, the JHM shop car is Sprint Blue, not Daytona Grey.

Like for like the blue JHM shop car is the fastest RS4 in the world.
The grey JHM customer car is the second fastest.
The APR dealer car is the third fastest, and Flying Potatoes is fourth fastest.
AMD WOODI is 5th fastest.
TTS/MRC Danny is 6th fastest.

The grey JHM car he was thinking (that went 11.12) is not a shop car and actually the first JHM customer car to get the supercharger. He was also the first car in North America to get the APR TVSr1320 supercharger I believe, ironically. He is currently the first customer RS4 in the world getting a built motor, and will be the first customer to get a stage III JHM RS4 setup. It will likely make similar boost to these APR and AMD kits, but as an educated guess, will make 150 more to the wheels. On California 91.

The title of his AZ thread is funny. “First time EVER at the drag strip.”

Then scroll down and read that he used to take his Pontiac to the track “back in the day.”

Still, it’s nice to see APR’s new kit putting down an awesome time. Wish we could see that entire slip, though.

No concern about the slip now that we have some video to back it up etc. It’s not like he ran something groundbreaking or unbelievable. With a way better modlist and miles better conditions, he went slightly better trap and slightly worse ET than APR dd. Makes sense. Nobody is doubting anything.

I think if you watch the one video, he’s clearly not a noob at rowing gears. Auditude needn’t apply…you’re not finding 2 tenths out of that car, let alone 4. He went 11.28 and…

http://www.youtube.com/embed/94EEJxg6h3c?wmode=opaque

He cut a 1.74 60’ (he also cut a 1.71 on the night…and frankly best we’ll likely see is 1.65 or so on these cars on streets)
He shifted well
He had DA on his side, like no other time we’ve ever had on the list. It’s literally the best one I can remember

Now, does he live in New Jersey? If ihe is anywhere near you guys (auditude and tsivas), get him out to do some PBOX times. A car that traps 125 should be good for 8 or 9 seconds I would say.

Grab that part I missed it…I think its funny that he is that far off the map…no one has hurt feelings its simply no one has respct for him and his time or car didn’t change that…
