3.2 mod interest.

Word.

I got a hold of the guys at JHM and will be dropping off my C6 A6 Avant for some go-fast goodies in January.

Looking forward to seeing / feeling the results!

yeah, the JHM product cycle is frankly fucking weird comapred to the rest of these guys. I mean it sounds very sane if you have a brain in your head, but compared to the majority of the Audi product market, JHM is like a space alien.

When JHM is testing parts in the design process, other companies are announcing their upcoming product and taking pre-orders.

When JHM is testing the parts on THEIR CARS THAT THEY BOUGHT (3 B5 S4s, 2 C5 A6s, 2 B6 S4s, 3 B6 A4s, 1 B7 RS4), other companies are getting feedback from the market on how the parts work…basically testing their parts on the customers’ cars.

When JHM is testing the parts at the dragstrip and in pulls and making a killer video to launch the part, other companies are explaining why their parts aren’t making customers any faster in pulls or at the strip and why their customers are losing pulls on video.

When JHM is finally ready to release their parts publicly, other companies are already abandoning the platform saying 'you can’t make power with the insert platform name and moving on to the next group of guys they can scam on the next platform.

…so how do I get JHM to test their products on my car?

park it in Lathrop California for a month or two. Or in Detroit.

Not to get cocky. But without them having my car for 2 months, I am not too sure how far along that program would be.

Those boys kill it over there. They can try and research all they want, but as soon as they can have a car in shop for extended period of time, improvement will be limited.

I think the 3.2’s best bet is to try and locate someone somewhat local, and talk them into leaving it with JHM.

I cant say enough great things about that company!

This is why all of the 3.0 guys love you. No homo…

to ‘knock you off your high horse’ (zingo reference) the JHM 3.0 program would be doing ok as they ended up buying 2 different 3.0 cars of their own to try stuff on. How’s that for dedication? Although I was most impressed when Dan bought a frigging Rs4 for the same reason!

just kidding of course. Awesome of you to donate your wheels for so long. i remember reading about it. Kudos to anyone who makes that sacrifice. There have been B5/B6/B7 S4s and lately even an S5 who did the same thing.

And I come back with his: Im on a Clydesdale and they can ride their donkeys

I totally agree tho. They didn’t get the shop cars till after my car was done however. I like to think I was just able to supply the jumper cables to the platform. haha.

I would really like to see the guys with the 3.2 get some lovin’ as well!

So would I

I was thinking about this the other day but how cool would a JHM R8 be. Or has God gone done that?

Actually I have two R8s so done that twice

TWO?!?!? You need to break out the details and pics man ;D

WOW that is awesome, you really are god.

I think it is about time that you put some stuff in the R8 section of this forum…I would love to see some pics and vids PLEASE. We all know what the JHM tune does for an S4 I can only imagine what it would be like in the R8. Do you have any other JHM goodies on there?

he has an R8 9.4

High revving V18 no doubt

he is spoiled for sure. HE says he just uses the 4.2 for around the town driving. :o

I would E mail JHM. I know they are going to be moving forward very hard with this program in march of 2012

4.2 DD and 5.2 for fun.

that’s fucking ridiculous.

Good to see JHM hitting the 3.2 program. Are all 3.2 engines FSI? If so another carbonator application potentially.

it must be tough to wake up in the morning and decide which R8 to take, wish I had that problem.

The 3.2 in the A6 and A4 are FSI, the 3.2 in the TT is a VR6 apart from some body panels the 3.2 TT is a Golf R32

the vr6 is not available in fsi correct
