This makes no sense. According to your hero saki, the records for the b5 were all set 5 years ago. This means the b6 is behind schedule according to your own theories.
I don’t agree with the time line argument personally. Today matters. Nothing else. The b6/7 s4 is light years behind the b5 and the b7 rs4 even. It’s pretty much even with the b8 s4.
In any event, today, there has never been a better pump gas time than that of the b7 rs4 that went 11.4 @ 125
Aside from different chassis and possibly the engine in the car, nothing else matters. The objective here is to be fast. Weight reduction, race gas, boost and how much money spent to get down the track is irrelevant. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is, who won the race, or what your time slip shows.
Well said Monty.
That’s why when I made my fastest ET wins challenge I simply said it has to have a 2.7 based engine.
Then others started adding “full weight” and crap. I’m surprised it hasn’t been said that it can only be on a Saturday between 2 and 4 pm with the sun hidden behind clouds and with a virgin in a white dress as a whiteness. give me a break. The fastest car wins lol
If guru has a pump gas pass running faster than 11.42 @ 125, I would love to see it so I could add it to the list. I just haven’t seen that (wasn’t on any of the lists I consolidated data from)
And since fucking when has running e85 constituted pump gas? Pump gas as everyone knows is 87-94 octane here in NA. The reference is to normal readily available gas, not the method of delivery. Not corn fuel or race gas. Not 91 + meth either.
E85 is interesting - I got excited by it once when I got a rental in Toronto that was “flex fuel”. Could I find any? Could I fuck. The next time I got a rental (this time in California), same thing, nowhere to try out E85. I’ve never seen E85 on my few forays into Michigan, even though it’s more prevalent there.
94 (AKI) is even more interesting as its not available in the US but is commonly available (as 99 RON) in Europe as Shell V-power (rather than the 91 piss V-power we get here in Ontario). Fuck even Tesco (think big box supermarket) has 99 RON fuel. Not sure why the US stops at 93 for pump gas.
