Just saw the slip. Great launch. It’s weird because you lost time on the second half. You were on pace for maybe 12.30 after the 330, and on pace for 12.40 after the 1/8. Did you miss 4th?
Im guessing slipping clutch. Didnt really notice at the track but definitely on the way home trying to log some pulls. Its shot now. Tune is still being worked on.

Did you say you were going to englishtown this SATURDAY & SUNDAY for import nationals? test and tune tomorrow starting at 11:30 am. Sunday there is no test and tune, but you can enter a certain class and still get some runs in. Starts at 8:am. It’s a big show.

Had a good time on Friday. The two issues I had were 1.) my stock shift knob kept flying off my shifter in either my 1st -> 2nd or 3rd ->4th gear shifts… that was very annoying and caused me to miss a lot of shifts. Then at some point halfway through the event, my car developed a pretty bad exhaust leak in between my up pipe and turbo, which caused me to not build full boost.
Here are the 3 best slips of the 7 runs. I am sure I can get into the 11s with a screw on shift knob and no more exhaust leak lol.
That’s a haggard array of timeslips. Can clearly see the car is kicking some ass but you didn’t really have a run where you were able to put it all together.
Also, kudos…that’s a new excuse to be added to the dragstrip excuse list: "Shift knob came off’
In all seriousness, you are actually the THIRD B5 guy I have heard mention this about the B5 shift knob. Once I was at the strip with a group and NotoriousVR’s shift knob actually broke into two pieces off on the 1-2. So I’m just messing with you, it’s definitely a weak link. I believe that’s why Jason from JHM developed their JHM knobs…he was sick of the B5 knob breaking.
With respect to your times, hands down, the middle one was on pace to be your best. If you had just continued at that pace and not missed 4th gear (it looks like you lost it on the 3-4, am I right? ) you would have run
12.07 @ 120 MPH

Yes, the shift knob came shooting off in my 3rd-4th gear shift in that 10.3 pass and made me miss 4th. It’s some stupid 2-piece press-on crappy freaking design lol.
I am planning on going back to ATCO this coming weekend as long as I can get the leak and knob fixed. So just wait till next weekend for when I get better results.
