AMD S/C... should I?

I love when people read this site and then pretend they dont (bmp)

Lol…AMD who? I think Aviva needed AMD because they have the magical punch that their customers drink. I wonder how influential Jonathan C was at dismissing EPL as the tuner. UM obviously did a decent job for now, I’m interesting to see how everything holds up. It’s still odd to me that no one cares the tuner was switched less than a month ago, but not one other person is requesting the reasons why. I guess everyone will just listen to Clint when he says tuning is tuning…

no one cares because no one knows any better

the koolaid or whatever you want to call it is blinding the fanboys, but the grand majority of these people have no idea how significant that was

This will surely fire some people up…

That guy clint is useless.

Remember his super duper 2.7t swap? Remember he was talking mad shit about the 4.2 and saying he’d take the 2.7 t b6 to the quarter mile? I suggested to him he wouldn’t match a 4.2 with bolt ons.

That never happened of course. Vanished.

I think his car suffered from typical 2.7 issues. We drove up to SoWo last year and the car had plenty of power but couldn’t rev it past 5500 rpm. Likely this answers the Houdhiniesque behavior.

probably not making much power then, if it couldn’t rev past 5500. Probably good torque thanks to the little K03s, but they would die at higher RPMs.

whose Clint the Audi_A4T guy?

That’s him

YOu guys know if he built the engine in his B6 A4 or bought it? I sold a 8500RPM 2.0T stroker Full engine to a guy named Clint in Florida maybe 5-6 years ago when I worked at Eurocode. I wonder if its the same Clint.

could have been. He says he did the build himself so even if you did he would never admit to it. Clint is a guy who won’t prove anything but will just talk like its possible. He knows less the most of the educated guys but talks so much that he has himself convinsed he is smart. He has shown to be a guy who thinks everything is so easy. When he goes to show you how easy it is he fails and then just moves on like it never happened.

8500rpm thats monster. what has to change in the 1.8T to do all that

could easily be

although he used to work at RAI motorsport or whatever they’re called

He was running K04’s at the time but not to it’s potential due the rpm limitations b/c of some other issue. It ran ok but the engine bay resembled a birds nest.

someone posted pictures and your discription is exactly that… jupiter you continue to be the best example of a V8 guy who still owns a 2.7…not too many level headed guys who want to be honest. I continue to enjoy your honesty

Ferrera Valves, Valve springs, Seats, and locaters. Its funny cause thats how mI got the job at Eurocode. My best friend was one of the first people to get his B6 A4 fully built. I went to Eurocode one night around midnight with my friend to pick up his car and me and Dave started talking and I got a job there. I ahd been taking my car there a couple of years at that point. When I worked there we built and shipped about 6-7 2.0T 8500 RPM engines and built another 10-15 for local customers or customers that had shipped their car to Eurocode.

This is my friends car when he first got it built.

If he did, that is a fail and a half. It just means he fell victim to all of the smoke and mirrors.

Maybe he is referring to his brakes

Nope, he chugged that purple drank.
