Tweets is officially an AMD salesman…he is fucking selling clutched on AZ now…lol This kid fucking blows my mind. Maybe he thinks that if AMD makes money off RS4s that Jason will finally finish his fucking fail boat.
Yeah lol I would like to see a picture of this so called “Modified RS4 Pressure Plate”
Hahaha I saw him. He is pathetic. Anthony needs to delete all of those amd threads.
Well that’s exactly what I’m doing… waiting… I mention in there I’m in no rush anymore and am only going to make a move whenever these kits have all information i’m looking for available. Meaning waiting till the last of those 4 kits offers all the info… i’m guessing JHM might be the last one to release.
I guess it’s to make a point, knowing that none of those companies will go so far to post the info requested… i’[m probably not going to get a supercharger kit anytime soon lol.
Great info, and anxiously waiting for JHM to release some hard info on their kit. I won’t be making a move until then.
My apologies,
It had sounded as if you wanted to buy a kit like RIGHT NOW to the one company who could win you over.
If you are truly going to wait, I’m happy for you.
JHM had a running JHM Supercharged RS4 displayed at their BBQ last month, so it can’t be tooo long before its available.
Hang tight ;D
It’s all good man… it actually feels good to not feel like I need a charger now and stepping back to just wait. Wait I will do, as long as I have to… the kits are going to be available, they’re not limited, so why rush =)
I saw some pics of that BBQ, looked like a good time… look forward to the details!
You will feel even better when your equipped with the SC kit that your know for a fact is right for YOU.
Yeah the BBQ was a blast! Great turn out. I’m blessed to live so close =D
Well jhm had there rs4 at last years bbq and has been testing every since then but who is counting.
I am… And that’s already a big plus in my book.
Its always cool to see more options but what some people already know is that jhm went 11.8 like 6 or 7 months ago on there 8000 $ stage 1 kit… and they havent rushed to sell anything. Now you have companys selling parts before there even done… jhm has said when they are ready its 8000 for a stage 1 when its done testing…not too sure on the stage 2
Jhm did the same thing with the s4 test test and retest and jhm made 500whp over 2 years ago on there b6 s4 kit
There are always going to be companys that want your money and will take it before they should. Its kinda obvious with the marketing disaster with the AMD kit that this is a figgure it out as we go. One week they had 12 kits sold the next they reviel they just have 2. If you read rs4per’s thread just the other day the kit was complete and ready for sale. So quick now is there another tune for the low hp kit that just last week was ready for sale.
Good mph too… And on shakedown passes. They grenaded the clutch on the car unfortunately and have done a redesign new Jhm clutch offer for stage 2
Funny thing is they buried the timeslip because they weren’t satisfied with that since it wasn’t their best, and they wanted to ensure that was reliable and viable. Other companies immediately blast that info out after 1 week of testing a new tune lol.
I like that jhm patience.
That’s very impressive at that price point… thanks for sharing.
Yea I like the fact that JHM has their own test car and is willing to break stuff to find out limits… that in itself will be very reassuring when it comes down to questioning reliability.
To further address how retarded the market is, check this out.
Someone says Jhm doesn’t have a kit for the rs4, only a rumour.
Someone else says they have had one on their in house rs4 for over a year.
Someone else says they must be having trouble tuning then.
Lol… Either that or they’re actually fucking testing it for longevity and quality! Euroswagr gave a great reply.

While I’m not in the market for a blower just yet, I do have an appreciation for the process JHM follows for development. I mention JHM because I have had open conversations with them and they answer questions when asked. Their kit is not available to the public yet but they have a willingness to share information when asked.
I spoke to Dan a while back when they tore his engine down for inspection and he went over the results with me. That aspect alone has to be a priority in development, how can the other companies NOT do the that type of inspection? Maybe they do?..maybe…but why not let their potential customers know about it? I’ve never read one post from another tuner about engine tear down and inspection after blower testing. Maybe they all do it as a common practise but don’t share the findings? If a kit is available on the market for purchase today I think the information should be made available for all prospective buyers.
There are so many other factors to the process but testing/inspection/testing/inspection is a must, especially over a long period of time in different environments, temps, loads, boost levels etc etc. That’s probably just the very beginning of the process, I’m far from an expert so I don’t actually know all that is involved.
That being said, I think each kit has it’s pros/cons. If I were in the market now I think my priority list would look something like this at a minimum:
Safety / Reliability (Tune/Testing Process/Results/Proof)
Hardware & Ancillaries / Design (Theory and best practices behind the decision)
Performance (Repeatable Proof)
Support Available (Is the team behind the product easily accessible when needed)
Cost (Does it fall within my budget)
The great thing about this topic, lots of exciting times for the platform ahead.
Yeah, the best part is that it’s good to see the RS4 distancing itself from the other platforms. We’ve never seen another Audi go these ETs or traps without race gas or meth or nitrous.
Zing…I hate those fools right now. I looked that kid up that made the comment. Guess what, he is an AMD EPL tuned B5, I should put him on blast for that, but it’s whatever.
Yeah, it’s weird how we know so much about the AMD cars but the AMD fanboys are clueless about other platforms like JHM, TTS, APR…and just inject misinformation whenever possible.
Reality is that we get villified on this site for being after results and truth. AMD went to the strip and FUCKING FLOPPED with the car a month ago. Seriously running APR times with a TVSr1900 and supposedly massive intercooling and 5-6 more lbs of boost is nothing short of a failure.
All the AMD fanboys shit their diapers and came here to freak out on us. For what? For telling the truth and being honest?
Jason even PMd me in a fury of anger, then lashed out at APR (lol odd choice by him) then lashed out at JHM (lol again…no idea why he is shitting on other comparnies that have NOTHING to do with him and have said NOTHING about his flop).
What happened next was funny. They listened to us, they went back to the drawing board, they identified that the tune is a weakness, and brought someone else in after searching around for another option. Then they had success. Then people here congratulated them on the result.
Strange how that happened? But to the flying fuckheads of the world, we’re ‘haters’. lol.
…and they can’t wrap their head around the fact that the cars have been tuned now for only a few weeks…but to Clint tuning an ECU is tuning an ECU. I love when he says that considering the biggest companies in the performance game couldn’t tune the BHF…but it’s so easy. He is a UM pusher so I know why he is there, but it’s also comical to see him take shots at the 1/4mile when his sig states his WHP and 1/4mile time of his A4(that blew up, right?)…fools
