AMD layed down 11.83 and 11.81 tonight on their RS4.

Jon answered but it appears to be the basic $11,000 kit on stock fuelling. The bigger kit runs more boost, adds another element of cooling to the 0.9 intercooler (bigger pump and reservoir I believe) and adds bigger fuel pumps. Its probably making 500 wjp or so. Which is what all the tts/mrc rotrex cars made in the uk, and that kit went 11.4 @ 125 on 93
Although both aviva amd customers cars with the 1900 kit are avus silver, which looks like quartz silver with some blue thrown in. Its an rs only colour with one or two exceptions.
Speaking of mrc… When are they going to be ready to launch their b8 s4 stuff? Their stage two car raped a revo car at gti I ternational last year.
No clue Saki… I am pretty much in wait mode on that car until APR releases the blower as have already told Arin I want one of the first kits sold as I am sure Richi does as well… I told him I would beta for DSG if needed… With the new toy I will focus on that for a while…
They guy I talked to made it sound like a .9 car, or detuned version of their rainbow package (fuel rails, intercooler, etc.). They were tickled at how it was faster than the APR car, so that I think was their comparative setup.

It is identical to the two APR times we have on the board. That Keith@APR time was run with full stock exhaust on. The Rocketman car had JHM catless exhaust and had better trap speeds.
I believe the RS4per car that went 11.8 last night has 3" catless downppes.

I would like to see an APR RS4 return with a full modlist in epic DA. The two runs I posted above ran in mediocre conditions.
I asked about this stuff a while ago when the JFonz thread came out…I’m sure nobody could fuck it up more than the one tuner did.
Now we have people suggesting that the EPL tune is fasterererer than APR Stage 2.
I also find Tony’s response pretty hilarious. It was most likely because of time constraints? As in, you dont know why but that is a guess? LOL

Oh and apr was well aware of and tuning for improved cooling from their first tune, ahh what almost 3years ago now…

I think people shoyld know that EPL coudn’t tune a 6 year old RS4 with a blower on it. How are they going to be able to tune the 2 year old 3.0 S4… Seems to me that the only ones saying EPL is going ot be better then APR are B5 guys :

Selling a tune with a dyno alone in this day and age is pretty fucking lame…especially when it is on your own dyno that always produces standout results (for EPL cars lol) , and you are renowned for SUCKING among those who take the time to look for real acceleration results.
For that matter, look at all the b5 guys talking about how great EPL and amd are.
Find me ANY impressive quarter mile times from ANY EPL tuned audi. Our list has like 2 in the top 100, and none in the top 20. That’s pathetic.
I’m wondering who the guy is that started the thread. Never seen him in the B8 section before. Seems like an itguy scenario to me. Just too lazy right now for confrontation. Looks like all the B5 pawns are chiming in though as expected.
