APR has been sold to Mangrove Equity

APR doesn’t have a booth. APR is supposedly one of Magnuson’s larger aftermarket clients (not OEM). Look up Andrew Mernone. He’s Magnuson’s marketing director as well as owner of DNA Performance in Australia who is an APR distributor.

Just look at what was in Magnuson’s booth last year.

And here is a picture of a pancake on a bunny’s head.

Still waiting for some definitive proof that APR is blowing engines.

you’ve already tripped yourself up doubting crew in the past. Want to go down that road again?

Tell you what, if htey start that thing up there in the booth, and we put a stethoscope on it, and it doesn’t clank or rattle, I’ll go meet you in Vegas and buy the drinks and pay for golf at Wynn’s club. OK?

Good luck.

Sounds good to me.

I still don’t see damming evidence being provided that engines are going left and right. Lots of insight into drama in the LBZ, but thats about it.

I don’t think you care (about the B7 RS4) maybe? So you’re not trying hard enough to keep informed.

Meem avus - posted about his blown apr1740 engine here on AR. Happened in a month.

GLENDALE ibis ti - posted about his blown engine on instagram (1200 miles supercharged)

GRD daytona grey - we have seen photos and heard from people at the Apr show that there is no motor in the car, and the blown motor has been confirmed by a few people…perhaps twice already by some accounts. This didn’t last long supercharged either. It’s the car Apr borrowed to run the 1/4 mile.

Flying tomatoes - lulz

This r8 - not sure what’s up with it but crew has been bang on so far with his other details.

There are hardly any Apr1740 supercharged r8s on earth so the mg sema guys didn’t exactly have much choice on what car to use. If Apr sent him a broken supercharger where the kit itself physically failed and killed the motor, that’s pretty shitty. Not sure that’s a blown motor due to kit though…so that’s a victory for apr!

I could give you all the proof to satisfy your curiosity, but then it would put others at risk. You can choose to believe, or not. Now ultimately if there are significant changes at APR, then perhaps this proof would come to light, but by that point it’ll be irrelevant and people would be wondering why i’m bumping up an old thread.

It’s pretty much the same thing that happened with Stasis. No one believed me, I got tons of shit for it, but at the end of the day I was bang on with the details and no one would give a damn if I posted the proof after Stasis folded.

Dave

Its not that I don’t believe you, its that your entire argument structure has been guilty until proven innocent.

This is a little bit different scenario than Stasis. The first time I read Stasis warranty language I knew it was a ponzi scheme with no underwriter or effective protection for any of the parties and their supposed warranty. It wasn’t that hard to predict their demise…

FWIW, Stasis warranty had almost thing to do with the demise of the company. The actual amount paid out annually in warranty claims was very minimal on their balance sheet. To this day, I haven’t heard of a single lawsuit that has been filed over the Stasis warranty.

Dave

Update: inside info from a current APR employee, the space station supply rocket too was running an APR Supercharger! If you look closely into the picture, you will see APR’s logo in the middle of the fireball. :stuck_out_tongue:

Why do you say this? Did it blow an engine? ;D

:joy:. Thanks, made my day. I wish Tapatalk allowed us to give +karma.

Hmmm Could this be from our friends at APR?

I’m fairly certain this would be Jason Frederic, who works in Production at APR, building all the turbo kits. In all the years working with him, I believe him to be one of the most sincere and trustworthy people I know at APR. He’s quick to find out when things are getting ready to be thrown out. Hell, he bought a customers B5 A4 for $300. Needed a transmission. I’d imagine these were acquired the same way.

I got word that AoA took back the S3 press car because they weren’t too happy about the VIN# being posted ;D

;D ;D ;D

I don’t get it.

I don’t get it.

Also why is there a Bridgestone tire on there? Did Michelin dump them too?

BFgoodrich not Bridgestone.

And why would AOA give them an S3 to show off their wares and then TD1 us regular folk??
