Further the launch control program that comes stock in the B8 isn’t that great on stock vehicles. It’s decent but some guys do better without it.

I don’t think you’re missing out. At your power levels, with dsg I think 1.6-1.7 is perfect. It’s not going to get much (if at all) better. How many high 11-low 12 second cars do you see cutting 1.5 60’ times? Pretty much zero. You’re already near uncharted waters. Or barely charted waters.

Going from 12.19 to 9.xx in a 60-130 run would be pretty f’n epic. Most of my shit talking claims to Tsiv are just that, a friendly shit talking episode between he and I and a few other local car guys. We tease eachother pretty bad, all for fun of course. It’s friendly competetivness. I do think I can realistically shave off enough to reach 10.XX seconds in the 60-130 with my changes but my real goal, the one I’m really focused on is being the first N/A RS4 to break into the 11’s in the 1/4. That would make me happy. I don’t care if ten guys after me do so all motor too, I just want to claim that title. It will feed my massive ego. ;D ;D ;D

Stage III - who will update us here first with info? Arin? I know Kai is there but he doesn’t post here that often. I’m curious to see who was right with the cost estimates from the poll.

APR is having their dealer shindig in Alabama this weekend, so that’s why the information will be coming out.

p.s. if someone ever beats my stock RS4 record I will cry. I know it will be good for the platform, but I will still cry.

p.s. Arin posted a photo of the S4 supercharger. Anyone figure out what model it was from the photo? I believe it was a cutaway and showed the twin vortices themselves.

Yeah, the R8 has different throttle body angles for lack of a better description. RS5/RS4 is my vote too.

Maybe APR think that you need to add 2 cylinders to the B8 S4 to go beyond stage 2.

Hey, despite our differences, and please don’t take this as a Spaz vs Saki dig, but I genuinely hope you take a plunge this year to make your car faster. I don’t think you’ll be sacrificing much of the DD ability of your car. You must have done enough research by now to know what you want, and already have the fastest stock RS4.

Lol I was serious… He was looking for one a few months ago. Not sure how seriously or if he still is.

No dig. I have a warranty so I said I would drive it stock till that expires. I’m a new York minute from being tuned plus full exhaust. I bought a jhm 2.75" catback and 2.75" hfc chatted downpipe already. The tune is a quick login away.
