Wheel spin effects ET, not MPH…in fact your MPH should be higher with wheel spin. You also need to understand some wheel spin is good with an AWD and judging by your 60’ times you are getting off the line pretty great. If we also compare that to Saki’s example of your 330’ time only being .17 seconds off the quickest car on the list that means you are doing great the first half of the track.

A month ago you were slamming the brakes before you were through the traps…this week you want to claim you spun until the 1/8th mile.

Your problem is you can’t admit screwing up again. You fucking hacked a hole in your hood, added meth, switched tunes and still can’t get the ET/MPH plenty of other S4s have seen. We told you to be patient and if anything go with GIAC. How is all this working out for you? You put APR on blast because of your tune.

*I think it’s time you ask Revo why your trap sucks and your tune blows after the 1/8th mile in your 1/4mile testing.

I know you have a 2014…blahblahblah, but just look at the ETs and the trap speeds. Your ET is great for your LOW trap and your 60’ is great. Even if you spun your trap should be higher. Your trap is pretty much the same for every one of your runs.

Sky, You really aren’t listening to anyone and I’m not sure why… I hate to say it but the Revo tune just isn’t cutting it… The only reason you are improving is the damn dsg tune which allows the car to rev to 7k… Not sure how/why you don’t understand this??? Your 60ft time/330 is fine which has already been pointed out… The car sucks on the top end for some reason, I believe it’s the tune… Even if you did spin and lost say 5 hundreths or so your mph is what sucks… I trapped 116+ on stage I, with a shitty 60ft time but close to the ET… We’re trying to help you just don’t seem to accept things and again not sure why?

In the grand scheme of things, 12.0 at 112.x is a fantastic time. It might not be the best theoretically possible time and he’s left something on the table. But I don’t think he has faulty software or a defective tune. These are enviable numbers for a sports car platform from 2009.

Agree, i wouldn’t call it a faulty tune, but a tune that can use a revision to be on par with the top contenders.

With what your saying it’s hard to think If you didn’t spin the car would have faster but mph aside that’s not necessarily true. If you didn’t spin the car might have launched harder but not faster. When care bite hard they slightly bog down for a second as they need the power curve to push the car to come in. Thinking that spinning is slowing you down is normal but spinning doesn’t mean the car isn’t accelerating and it doesn’t mean that there is going to be a measurable difference.

Everyone is saying the same thing. Your assuming no spin will equal faster that’s not always true. If done right wheel spin can help mid level hp cars acceleration.

Your 60’ and 330’ don’t show signs of lost acceleration at the start.
Something appears to be off as the mph was lower then expected.

I would say shut off the Meth that slowed the car down. In those temps it’s almost not needed.

You did say that you had meth on? You do realize that with 100+oct, running meth, especially in the cold, dense air, will be to high of a mix and hurt timing? I believe Jeff had this issue when trying out too high of an octane mix. ?.

This could definitely be hurting your topend speed, where timing matters most.

I think it is something everyone takes personal. They have all tried to help and almost every step they kinda have to push some sense into Skywagon.
