GIAC Stage 2 with AWE Tuning Pulley

I should be able to make it up one of those Saturdays.

^^Sweet!

I’m impressed with Attitudes time’s and am really looking forwarded to seeing the GIAC stage 2 in action.

Edit: speaking of seeing it in action how are the pbox numbers coming Tsivas? I assume you only logged the GIAC car?

+1

Hey guys! We actually did logs and vbox’d the car last night as well.

On a full tank of 93 I ran an 11.03s 60-130 which is now the fastest pump time on the list and the conditions weren’t nearly as good as in the past aswell as having a full tank compared to a 1/4 tank like all the other runs. Logs also looked really good. I believe we saw around 18.2psi of boost max. Car is running seriously sweet. Also I am on A5 19" wheels and they are at 59.2lbs per side which is atleast 5lbs heavier per side than any stock S4 wheel. I’m thrilled with the times. I will be doing the spark plugs and fuel filter this week as they are original and have 67k miles on them. The car can def cut .2-.3 seconds off the 60-130 time on pump and without a doubt it has a 11.9X run in it. I only did two passes because of time and I was able to cut back to back 12.1’s so I know with a few more passes I would have got there.

Good stuff, thanks for going out of your way to hit the strip and pbox. Forums should appreciate data gatherers more.

60 lbs per wheel is mental. What’s with that? My RS4 wheels are like 50 lbs each (26.8 lb wheels and 23.5 lb tires. They are 19x9 et 29 wheels too, which are way bigger than the B8 S4 19x8.5 et 42 or whatever they are. You’d think those peelers or the lobster forks would be pretty light based on the 5 spoke design.

If you can get some 25 lb wheels+24 lb tires on there, you’ll feel like you got an even smaller pulley.

How about forgestars or those TSW nurburgring in gunmetal in 19x8.5 or 19x9. They’re around 22.5 lbs with good offset.

Thanks Saki-

That’s exactly what I’m in search for. I’ll even consider some 18’s just got to make sure they clear my Stoptech’s.

I was looking at the Enkei RPF1 in 18x8 with 255/40/18 to keep the rolling diameter the same and be able to maintain hitting 130 in 4th.

That setup is 17.6lbs for the wheels and 24lbs for General tires in that size. So that would be 41.6lbs per side compared to almost 60lbs now. What kind of effect do you think that will have on my 1/4 mile Saki. You know better than me lol

Thanks man appreciate it!

Hit the strip and beat me so I can go back

Thanks bro  my overall goal is to get into the 11’s in the 1/4 on pump and 10.6-10.8 60-130 on pump 93. Once I reach those goal I will move on to race gas testing. This will all be soon before the summer hits then that will be a a whole other compilation of data.

Thanks Ron, I’m knocking on 11’s door

post the other timeslips for you and your dad so I can add your new bests.

The slip that Tsivas posted is my best trap and the right lane is my dads best time of the day. The other slip I have at home. It was a 12.108@113.77mph. I’ll post the slip as soon as I get home tonight.

k thanks. I’ll update your dad. What’s his modlist?

edit: got it here

2010 B8 S4, DSG, REVO stage 1, Roc Euro intake, AWE Resonated exhaust.

I’m on it although i don’t know if my wheel/tire setup is going to be optimal.

Interesting that the REVO car added an AWE exhaust and RocEuroIntake, and had fantastic DA (I think it was pretty good last time too) but vs. it’s best time before, it picked up a little over a tenth and lost MPH.

What was DA before? Must have been insane.

My wheels are 60lbs each lol so I doubt yours are any heavier.

It was def a lot colder last time. Not sure on DA. We cut almost .2 seconds off the ET but trap went down however. I went almost 116 in the left lane and a hair under 114 in the right lane yesterday. My dads runs were both in the right. Could the right lane be slower or could it be a coincidence?

right lane was slower last time i was at atco. i always try and get the left lane there

could certainly be a lane vs. lane thing. Your 2 MPH swing is kinda weird.

next time you go, watch the big tire cars and see what lane they gravitate to. At the track I go, nobody likes the left lane. Strangely it’s where all of my fastest runs in my various cars have come, so I tend to choose the left.

Nice work, Pete! Glad to see it was worth sticking it out with us.
