Don’t get it.

Drop it and hit a rescue around/on the green, then get up and down for par
The risk he took there was silly…and all he ended up its was a 4 or 5 iron (he still had 200) into the green so unlikely to make birdie.

If you don’t get it up over that crest you have 230 from a dead lie.

Strange silly shot selection. Must have been bored. here’s his shot link data.

He only had 243 in. He could have dropped it and had 255. He will get down in 3 from 255 seven times out of 10

^^ it also looked like a pretty steep drop if he lost his balance or something.

I’ve now downloaded the PGA TOUR app - thnx for posting that up.

What a shot by Harrington on the second playoff hole. That totally intimidated the young guy, who proceeded to push his shot into the water.

Great to see Padraig win again. He shld get his Tour card back now.

Once you win you get an automatic 2 year exemption to the PGA TOUR. Even if you win an opposite field event. So that’s wrapped up for him till the end of 2017 season.

I was pulling for Padraigh. Great to see him outlast everyone. It was ballbreakingly tough out there this week. Course is solid.

I played there in 2010 and I liked it. Didn’t think it was ‘great’. Just very very solid and demanding all the way around. We played the back tees for a bunch of the holes including the bear trap. I parred the two par 3s (15-17). Missed a couple of yards left of 15, hit a pitch shot with spin to 5 feet and made the putt. Put it on the front of the green on 17 and 2 putted. On 16 I hit 5 wood down the right edge of the fairway to the exact spot Harrington was today. I had about 195 pin. Thinned a 5 iron into the hazzard…hit it out of the hazzard (got wet but it was the 2nd last hole and I was staying in the hotel). Didn’t get the green, and end up making double.

6th hole is vicious. And the par 3s (especially 5) all have pretty tough greens. Otherwise the course is very fair. If you fk up, it’s your fault, not the course. Annoying that way. I like having someone to blame lol.

A little off topic and a bit away, but anyone going to make it to the Master’s this year?

Not me.

Anyone want to play TPC Eagle Trace? Pm me if so.

Certainly not off topic haha. Unfortunately I wasn’t picked for tickets this year - otherwise I’d probably be there. You?

Was down in Florida over the weekend. Got in a round of golf on Friday morning. So many crazy old people on those courses.

Buddy accidentally throws out his receipt, starter makes some condescending remark “You must not golf often.” Really glad we paid those greens fees. Then my friend blasts a monster drive, hits the green in two, and birdies.

Later, had some old lunatic fly up behind us in a cart on the 7th hole as we were preparing to tee off. His friends were still finishing off the 6th. He says “You have an open hole. TEE OFF!” We point out that there is a foursome about 200 yards out, right of the fairway. He continues to berate us and doesn’t even look downrange in that direction. Following hole, par 3, foursome ahead of us still on the green. We stand on the tee and watch the dick behind us park his cart 5 feet off the green. Blows my mind that he thought he had any right to comment on our etiquette.

I love golf but man some people don’t make it easy to relax and enjoy. Explains why so many new people are quickly turned off to the sport.

Yea, I won two practice round tickets, so I’m going to be going down there and hopefully getting around in somewhere. Might also get a tour of the Clubhouse, so fingers crossed as that’d be great.
