Sned is a good guy, really impressive to play with him first hand, it feels like every putt is going to go in and if it doesn’t its still going to catch a good bit of the lip no matter the distance he’s putting from. But I kinda agree, it feels like his stroke has gotten a little more jerky as of lately. Who knows what swing training/new techniques/demons they’re constantly working though.

Watching the analysis on Golf Channel - Brandell just said that Tiger “should fire Foley and go back to a more natural way of playing golf.” Seriously?
Let’s get this straight: Tiger’s won four times this year (including the de facto “fifth major”), he’s number 1 in the FedEx rankings, and he’s number 1 in the world. Not only that, but he’s contended in 2 out the of 3 majors this year. Whatever your thoughts on Tiger in the majors, I don’t see this as a coach issue…
Hahahahaha chamblee is classic. Foley destroyed him in the press a year or two ago after being sick of it. So chamblee will never let it go.
Chamblee was talking all kinds of shit about tiger missing a cut and Foley said something like "are we really listening to brandel chamblee tell tiger Woods what he should or shouldn’t be doing? Tiger has missed seven cuts in his career and has 60 wins and 14 majors. chamblee only made a total of 80 cuts out of 200 some odd attempts.

^^ nice find (and quote). I was looking for that after your post. Brandel definitely has the gift of gab (the guy can really talk for Chrissake). But it’s worth keeping things in context - his critiques are often way off-base.
As for Johnny Miller - I tend to give him a pass on these things, just because I respect the guy too much. But he’s been guilty of the same things as Brandel as well. Looks like he’s been re-thinking his previous rejection of Tiger’s offer of a coaching job…

Miller was just questioning tigers decision to rebuild on air. Fair enough to do when tiger was struggling like crazy. Miller doesn’t do it anymore because clearly tiger is back on form. Nothing like chamblee. Chamblee is just makes it personal. He has called for tiger to fire Foley five or six times already. If he wins the PGA and one more regular tournament this year, chamblee will still say he should fire Foley because he didn’t win two majors. Or 7 events.
In the last 16 months tiger has 7 PGA tour wins including a players and a wgc, which is the equivalent of someone like Geoff ogilvy or dustin Johnsons entire career. He also has a dozen other top 10s, $9,000,000 in prize money and is hands down world number 1, having regained the title from the supposed ‘next one’ .

Too bad his wife went in labor three weeks early and he had to forego that several hundred thousand dollar check (or the $1 million if he won). Would you guys have done the same? I guess Mahan is rich enough by now to have that option, but if one of the lower-ranked players was on top going into the weekend, it would probably be a much more difficult decision.

Johnson sure fucked up on 17. When he hit it in that bunker I said o the people I was with ‘he’s fucked’ , ha img hit it in that bunker myself plenty of times. Sure enough he drilled it into the lip, and ended up making triple. Funniest part of that is that his girl Paulina Gretzky was slinking around all slotted up in a fancy black dress all day. When he made that triple (and it was clear she wasn’t going to be running on the green to celebrate with him on camera) she ducked into the clubhouse and changed into jeans and a sweatshirt lololol

Glad to see you guys get out to the Open. Dustin Johnson is very erratic - especially at the end of rounds when he’s in contention. Couldn’t believe how far right he hit it on 17. Sucks for him - a par on that hole would have put him into a playoff with Sneds.

No when a girl gets fake duck lips…huge negative. Means she is slightly crazy and self loathing. Sad. Anyway the creepy duck lip looks soooo stupid. She’s creepy skinny too. What’s amazing is how beat she looks for 24. When she is 30 she will look 45 . All partied out. Wat h her in the video… So insecure. Take away the cop, the stupid dress and those glasses and she’s just another cute blonde girl with stupid lips. I was literally right beside her when she had her jeans and sweatshirt on and people didn’t notice her. A friend saw me and asked me who the girl was I was talking to. I told him I wasn’t talking to her but that is Paulina Gretzky. He didn’t believe me. In his mind she was a super goddess and this was just a skinny little girl.
There were plenty of hotter babes out there. Only difference is tmz and maxim never told anyone that those other girls were hot.
