that’s a great screen grab. clearly the club face is in a closed position.

oh ya congrats on making the cut, maddog - good shooting! keep us updated.

perfect, thanks!

No problem. Fairly crude obviously but you get the idea.

And in order to get from closed to square, it’s going to feel like you’re going from closed to way open (ie yellow line). But once you get used to it it’ll make a big difference.

I think if you work on that and get used to stoping your backswing at what feels like 75-80% it’ll let most everything else fall into place.

Also, thanks for the congrats on my qualifier. Fun day.

Shut face for the win. High draw is where it’s at.

whats the deal if I have a shut face but a low hook. ball position problem?

Whew. Way to difficult to analyze via that way. Ball flights can be associated with swing paths, but multiple actions can create similar results.

Golf’s looking like it is ready to replace Tiger Phil and Ernie…Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Rory Mcilroy and Rickie Fowler seem poised to take the game through the next 15 years. Pretty cool.

Jason is the old boy 27, followed by Rickie and Rory at 26, and Spieth the baby at 22 (just).

It does seem to have been a watershed year for the young guys - they’ve won 3 of the 4 majors and both of the playoff tourneys thus far. It’s pretty exciting. I think the Tour is in good hands going forward.
