Has PES finally bit the dust? Rumour has it...

No… No way that us actually the picture of the building…I just did the search thats what PES is moving into. Where are they now in a cardboard box… that building is super small.

Just about 2000sq feet. Not exactly moving up in the wokrd sounds like downsizing. Or closing. …

i think it’s just a mailing address to be honest.

The company is a ghost right now.

I am not sure if the garage door is wide enough for an RS5

I was just thinking that lol

That area and building was a complete shithole. I would operate a cock fighting ring out of there.

The main thing learnt from that a5oc/spinner/PES debacle was to screencap!

At least it’s resolved then, that’s all that matters. No point in it being dragged out any further. So did you opt for another kit from elsewhere?

Has he had the refund cleared yet?

Best part of this is a group of absolute morons on rs246 supporting pes as if they’re a real innovator just to post something against me. why are they against me? Because I sugfested they demand acceleration testing from tuners instead of eating dyno shit sandwiches. It’s fantastic comedy over there. They’re like our market was 7 years ago. Buying up 2.25" catbacks and saying they must be optimal because they were designed that way lol.

Its good comedy.

Haha wow what a bunch of idiots over there in that 246 thread. How can no one be concerned about that picture lol. A shitcan 2000 sq ft garage in a shitty neighborhood is going to turn into some thriving business tuning $80,000 Audis? [facepalm]

Here’s the thread http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?t=109547

Weird.

Edit: that pes whipple thread on AZ is still being updated. … http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9739560

Interesting. I guess we are handing out beta S5 Superchargers now.

I love when people know information in regards to what JHM is doing before I do.

More along the lines of… I need to know if you’re still selling me the blower as theres a possibility I can get the JHM one in a few months for not much more.

Which I really am hoping is sooner then later.

Refund has been issued by PES, pending part is just a technicality I’m sure.

Is it pending or not? i.e. do you have your money yet.

Saki, why do you still bother? It’s obvious 90+% of the people in that thread aren’t potential PES customers and therefore don’t care whether PES is capable of supplying said products or not and whether they actually perform or not. They have no skin in the game and obviously don’t care about actual customers and whether they get screwed. They’re nice and comfy in their homes and don’t have any money (and will never have any money) tied up into this and couldn’t care less about anyone else.

If it turns out that it’s all a scam (whether no products are provided or sub-par products are supplied), they’ll just walk away and start on a new bandwagon.

At this point, I think you’ve shown enough facts to cause any potential buyer who hasn’t been brainwashed to re-consider their purchase and wait it out to see the outcome. And if a potential buyer has been brainwashed, then there’s nothing to do about it anyway.

Good points axel. Agreed.

I’m at the point where I’m like ‘let them get fucked’.

Just as I’m at the point with performance stuff where I say ‘let them be slow’.

Some people are too stupid to be helped. There’s a big thread there about the Capristo exhaust where they’re all drooling over it. It’s a fucking 2.25" catback that costs $6,000 and Capristo have the audicity to claim gains of 20 hp lol. Some of the morons on Rs246 are eating that up. I mentioned that it’s a restriction in the exhaust vs. stock even…and nobody blinked. They think that helps low end torque lol.

Then of course one of them said the x pipe is a waste since Capristo tested on a Ferrari California. Just trotted out what beemercer taught us 5 years ago about cross plane V8s and exhaust scavenging vs. flat plane V8s. Right over thear heads. Comical shit.

That entire Euro market is dyno brainwashed. None of them ask for anything more than a dyno, and they virtually trip over each other to shovel cash at these companies. PES, milltek, capristo, revo etc. They don’t care. Does it have a dyno? Yes? TAKE MY MONEY!!!

I do think it’s useful to have this thread available for anyone out there looking for facts. We get a lot of views even from people who don’t post much on here, so it’s good to have this information on a forum where no one will delete or alter it.

Btw - have there been any PES supercharged 4.2s that have gone faster than 12.6 @ 110?

There was spinner’s car that went 12.4 I think. B8 S5 4.2 FSI

Fastest RS4 was the krytponik car that went 12.6 @ 110

Fastest B67 S4 was vwrcer that went 12.5 @ 112

Those are all Eaton M90 cars on certified dragstrips.

What a failure. Really incredible that people would even think of going PES at this point with JHM and APR’s kits (also TTS I believe).

the fact that PES was too dumb to do their homework and review a compressor map when choosing the M90. They just got something cheap that fit…and charged $12,000+ for it ($14k for the RS4 even though it needs no fuelling upgrades)

VF Engineering also used the M90 for the RS4/S4.

For a little history, APR created an Eaton M90 supercharger kit for the B67 S4. They took AGES to release it. Why? The gains weren’t worth it and they didn’t feel comfortable asking for thousands of dollars for not much of a gain vs. good tune/exhaust. The ‘2 weeks’ delay went viral from this debacle.

What did APR do? They spent even more money bringing in help from outside…trying to rescue the program. When it became clear the M90 was not good enough, they did what you would expect a good company to do. They looked at the M112, but fitment and cooling wouldn’t work in a top mount manifold design. So instead, they ate a $100,000 shitburger, canned the project and never launched it.

VF Engineering and PES? They went balls deep into the M90 and destroyed their reputations lol. Well, over here. UK guys are happy to shell out $10,000+ for the M90 kits so those companies have good businesses over there. The guys there don’t have a fucking CLUE about measuring performance (for the most part…some of them are pretty sharp and realise they’re buying performance parts, so they want to test performance lol…i.e. S4danny/s4player/rs4danny and a few others…but a minority to be sure). The UK guys are reviled at the thought of actually doing performance testing, choosing instead to jerkoff onto a dyno sheet printout.

Did you know that you can buy an Eaton M90 for less than $1000? lol

Anyway
