Exactly. As it sits, Spinner’s claims that the customer is satisfied and was given an immediate refund is the last relevant post on topic.
Of course a day AFTER that, the customer posted here that the refund was ‘pending’…and hasn’t come back to confirm anything.

Very good point on the moving prep. My firm is moving to a new office a few blocks away this August, and we’ve been dealing with preparations for the past 18 months. Granted, we’re a bigger shop than PES, but still, moving a business is a big deal that requires a ton of leg work.
Then again, we don’t have lasers . . .

Lol, I can’t remember if I mentioned it but my dept at work moved to a different building during this whole PES thing. We did the entire move in an afternoon, with way more staff, and our phone lines didn’t go down for a second. And I don’t think we had to pass off support to our UK office either ;D

Saki is really onto something here…where is PES…they can’t ship parts and I doubt other customers bought supercharger kits from them…there excuse that others got there kits is just one more lie.

It looks like PES is running a ponzi scheme. They need a buyer like psiaddict in order to use his money to pay other people who are seeking refunds…and to buy parts for other people’s kits and hopefully scrape them out. I reckon if we talk to a few people who are PES customers (and not paid spokesmen) they will share that the time for delivery was much longer than anticipated.
When you’re not paying your phone bill, and you lose your business location and are pretending to move but are really just replying to forums online out of your house, you’re not investing in fuck all. You’re trying to stay alive before everyone figures you out.
So here’s the update… there seems to be some complications with the refund which I won’t mention at the moment as supposedly Tony is working on it. I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. If he does in fact fall through, E-Bay will automatically refund the payment in two weeks.
To say that I’m happy is a bit of a stretch. What part should I be happy with? Wasting a bunch of time and not getting what I paid for? At this point I just want a finalized resolution so that I can just forget this ever happened and move on.

Sounds like a standard dispute resolution process through paypal. If that’s the case, you will be fine at the end of the period (the seller has a certain period of time to make good).
Tony is issuing you some sort of clearance period paypal refund, that’s an e-cheque. Basically he’s sending you money via paypal to clear through his bank, then paypal releases the funds. If that didn’t work…that means it bounced. If I’m a betting man, that bank account is virtually empty. He couldn’t pay the $40/month phone bill or the rent, so he doesn’t have $6,000 just waiting to send to you. He’s fucked. Sounds like the second you paid, he withdrew it and now it’s empty. There’s no chance he can pay you. Just deal with paypal and ignore Tony’s excuses and lies at this point.
So to clarify for everyone here and on RS246…Tony DID NOT refund the owner’s money. Tony is fucked.

psiaddict - sorry to hear you’re being messed around. Very sensibly you paid by PayPal. Lesson here - always pay by credit card/Paypal never with debit card/cheque/cash/Western Union.
Since we’re working on the theory that PES has no cash, then PayPal will suck up the $$$. It will be interesting to see if PES pop up somewhere else with a different ebay and PayPal account details.
This is exactly what I was thinking when he said it was pending. Pending doesn’t mean shit, until it says complete lol. The positive is the buyer will get his money no matter what, paypal will put PES account into negative and he will not be able to do much with it until he brings the balance to zero again (which could just be accepting someone elses money unfortunately).
It is what it is at this point. At least it got me to prepare the S5 for the blower. Carbon cleaned and a base dyno run as I was somewhat skeptical with the said gains. This way nothing could be blamed on the car.
