What I don’t understand is that I’ve clearly stated dyno plus 1/4 mile results are best to judge performance. Not sure how that puts me on this short list you talk about.
All - I’m happy with what I paid for, have I mentioned that yet, lol? I don’t want to be part of the AMD war that seems to be active here, but I feel compelled to provide facts, and correct myths or untruths where I have had real life experiences - and only in those situations.
On a related note, Chris, I never saw a response from you regarding where you got your false information from regarding the other dyno reading lower than AMD’s? Really curious where that misinformation came from.
Gotcha. You have to expect a tough crowd. You installed a product on your car that has been hyped up, obviously not your fault, but you gotta expect the haters to follow. You know what they say though - “If you have haters, you must be doing something right.”
From my experience on here, these guys are quick to call bullshit on stuff, but also quick to praise PROVEN products for these cars. Some shops rely on dyno sheets (that can be manipulated) and bogus claims to sell their products. Most of the guys on here just want to make sure you don’t get screwed over and that the supercharger kit was worth every penny, hence why I asked my question earlier.
well I wasn’t directing my post at you… so why would I post it any different…All the PES failures were happy too so your happyness isn’t changing the product or even giving it a leg to stand on… you havent corrected myths or untruths… Your experience isn’t fact in your refrences its your experience… all of that I have been saying… Your car is attached to a shop and product that has recently failed to impress and you don’t even have the BIG kit that they too it with…For now as many have stated your dyno sheet and 50 dyno sheets might as well be a napkin.

Where did you got the misinformation regarding AMD vs other dyno results? and,
What leads you to believe I’m on the ‘AMD dyno short list’ given I’ve made it clear I subscribe to having both dyno and 1/4 mile results is best?
Per. I have said over and over and attempt to continue to say. Any skeptical acts are not directed at you… I continue to try to do that and hte 3rd party comment was once again to do that. Only time people get attact is when they take there hopes and fix that into fact…
And for the record you saying… no thats not true… isn’t fact its just you saying no its not true… You have changed nothing… post the dyno sheets and then that can be looked at to say what is fact or not.

Great car and nice intro. Its refreshing to see a reasonable outlook coming from an owner himself. Something to keep in mind, many members are passionate about this platform and the potential that awaits with the forced induction, though the crowd may be tough at times, it’s only a result of wanting to see real world results. I think you realize this and can only hope you continue to report with your non-biased/owner type feedback. Many of us can benefit from this. As for being satisfied I have a question… Is that based on butt dyno and real dyno alone? Have you done any performance testing?
Also what would you say a trap speed that is acceptable for the 0.9 kit is (assuming it dynos around 50 whp more than an Apr kit which trapped 117-119) .
We know it may have trouble with et based on what the 1.0 kit did and what just about every epl tuned car in history has trapped.
Appreciate you not trying to bash me, feedback would be: the way you write it doesn’t always come off that way ;), but I’ll try to keep your stated intentions in mind.
There are only two issues I’ve had within this thread: one was from PBULLARD calling me a liar with no basis for that comment (and we’ve PM’ed since), and the other is from you ONLY in regards to your act of casually posting blatantly false information in regards to the AMD vs other dyno without following that statement up…with facts. His actions lacked integrity, yours was irresponsible (if someone told you that wrong info and you posted without validating) or also lacking integrity (if you made it up).
I get your point about posting the proof, but let’s be clear: posting a fact doesn’t make a fact any more or less true, it’s just a fact. I understand you want to validation. For the dyno differences: I was there. I saw it with my own two eyes. Dynojet op had no clue this was an AMD product. AMD wasn’t involved in booking or paying for the time. I know it to be true, and I know your statement to be false.
Of course it’ll be ‘he said/she said’ until results get posted, I understand that and while I think it’s somewhat unfortunate since what you did is akin to saying, “Guilty!” without having anything to back it up with (and I back the legal system of the ole’ USA here in believing that something like that just doesn’t fly), I’m comfortable knowing what is true here. I wasn’t going to share those differences until later, but your statement forced me to at least tell (not show) the facts (obviously showing at this point doesn’t work with my overall plan of sharing until final results) in the name of not having false information out there (vs no information). I understand my word likely means nothing to you or the internet at large, and that’s OK.

Did pes cars really run 12.6 lol? Surely that’s down to some shit driving? I actually quite liked my pes kit, great low down grunt and I managed a reasonable 11.7 with it. I’d leave all the guessing out this thread and wait on the owner hitting the strip for results
Yeh I was m112 and the strip isn’t certified BUT its not a random runway event. They hold the 1/4 mile there every second weekend and remember its ‘Scotland’s national strip’ its all we’ve got to work with up here lol!

I salute your post, nice info. It is amazing how much scrutiny you come under once you post forced induction. Your install looks nice and clean and I know your new hardware is matching your engine seamlessly. It is amazing how adaptive our engines are to the additional air! Have you had any leaks?
Well before I bought my S/C, I spent many hours searching everywhere for an RS4 S/C tune. I kept on kept on looking for months. I posted many “stupid” questions on many of the Audi forums in search of valuable information. Eventually, I lost my patience and I went ahead and bought the TTC S/C, still not sure about the tune. After some failed attempts, I finally yielded to the guys who did the hardware install and let their 3rd party tuner go at it. He ripped out both ECMs and re-mapped both of them from scratch. The car has been totally transformed. Every aspect of the car’s attitude is different. It even sounds completely different.
