They wear extremely FAST! As do Goodyear AS tires. (All Season)
A tie for the longest lasting tires are Yokohama Avid Envigors and Continental DWS. W rated.
I would say Toyo and Nitto are a close second depending on what model.

I just got here yesterday…2002 B6 A4 (AVK) 3L Q with stick…>190K miles…bought Gretchen with 130K miles already on her!!..just changed the clutch at 187K!!!..belt+ done at 180K…Black on Black…all stock.
The wife has a 2002 BMW E46 330XI…auto…Orient Blue with black and tan… direct competitor…Heidi
Other vehicle is 1999 Mustang Cobra…with heavy mods in suspension/chassis…just short of coilover…This is my money pit…Kelly.
I’m just looking to keep my Winter cars (Audi and BMW) running and keep up with the latest happenings.

I’ve had parts building up in the garage for a while now, from more low to more show.
Been watching the forum for a while now and picking up on ideas such as the zingo mod, JHM mod for the log manifolds, to 2.5" exhaust set up (with a x) for example.

Not too many bolt ons for the 3.0L for power.
How ever You will find on this forum that there are small MODs that do a little.
And You won’t get the crap from 1.8t owners here.
Is Yours an automatic or a Manual? Quattro?
Quattro with 6 speed. Wouldn’t even think of buying an Audi without quattro. Oh I know all about the lack of bolt ons for the 3.0, I came from a C5 4.2 and watched Beemercers 4.2 turn into an animal from day 1. I used to be engrossed into the C5 platform but things the times have changed.

Hi, new here, I have an 02 3.0 quattro, 6 speed. I have it for 4 months now. It has 114.500 miles. Didn;t had any problems with the car. I have a small problem: it has a small leak near both of the valve cover gaskets but no significant lose in oil and also I dont see any on the ground. I will replace it when its gonna be worst. Today: oil change (Castrol SLX Prof 5W30, with factory audi filter) and replace the fuel filter (I dont have any problems with it but I want to protect my fuel pump. I talked with the previous owner and he said that he never changed. A new one is 14$ cause is the first generation of fuel filters). Nice to be here.

Looks like there’s going to be 2 less. Zingo traded his car in for a mini cooper and mine’s for sale. Shame shame.
Shame. I feel like the 3.0 crew is what got things going here on AR before us 4.2 hooligans showed up.
I was really excited for the 3.0 program but I guess things have stalled of late.
Yea I got a bunch of them over here a couple years back because we were getting flamed 24/7 on AZ. But like you said, it’s been stalled for ages. Time to move on, I’d like to have a new car for a change. But I’ll be back in a v8 Audi when my lease is up

What’s the status on yours lout? Mine is great now that I’ve got all the little things fixed to get it sold… it’s going to be hard to part with.
Well my car is still sitting with the dead motor in it…i have my other motor at my brothers place, i got my computers back from jhm after they put a big effort in getting them done…the next thing i have to do is make the custom downpipes to my headers cause supersprint is shit and did no reaserch…the only proplem is my stock downpipe is still.in the car and need to get it out to use as a template to make the new downpipes…
Talk to CV about the downpipes, he might be able to give you some assistance without having to pull your stock ones.
