To switch gears…interesting that if you lived in Denver and drove a Tesla, you’d actually be FASTER at the strip than at, say, PBIR. Air density would be uour friend. You’d also probably be faster than the M5, S6, supercharged RS4, name it.

Basically you can throw out DA having any effect…:slight_smile:

How is that? That you’d be faster? Air resistance? Is that even quantifiable?

And how are you going to go from being a 12.3 @ 112 car to being faster than cars that trap 120-125? The 125+ trapping cars will suffer, but are they really going to lose 12-13 MPH? I don’t think so.

I think you proved it right there in the case of the M5, S6, AMG cars and most of the “other” brands of supercharged RS4s. They would be likely go from high-11s to slower than 12.3…

Anyhow, thought it was interesting.

Sak you can spend all day playing punchbuggy with Teslas, probably better if you go to the office (you know, the one you sent the picture to us with the tv, hand lotion and kleenex…IIRC you were trying to brag at the time that your office had a window and mine and beemercers didn’t)

It doesn’t change the fact you replied to two posts worth of my driving impressions with “it feels cheap” based on sitting in a car at the body shop. Drive one, then offer a meaningful impression.
