Yup, that’s the link. For the half-shafts, if you want to have a full set of good ones just to have on hand, get some OEM ones from Raxles (it won’t be cheap without cores to send back in though). I wouldn’t worry about getting good ones for spares, as the Chinese ones are just good to have as a spare to throw on while you send your bad one to Raxles to get rebuilt (if something happens to it that is). The Chinese ones are just there to avoid a tow home.
I’m not sure how soon you plan on wrapping it out, but if you’re taking it easy for a bit, I may have a PCV/catch can solution ready by then. If you are looking to handle it now, the provent is a good choice. The dilemma with the Provent with your type of build is that you’re really skirting the flow limit of the 200 with the power you’ll be pushing. The 400 would be a better fit, but it’s freaking huge. I’d probably just go with the 200 and keep an eye on your cam seals, make sure there’s no weeping after some high-boost pulls.

I have never said ‘I would never come back.’ In fact, to the contrary I have said multiple times, ‘I will reserve my right to post whenever/wherever I want (within the TOS of a given forum)’, said almost verbatim. I have said (and maintain the opinion) that the pretentious V8 circlejerkers on here are ruining the great potential that an ‘advertiser free’ forum could have. I will retain my right to check/post in whatever forum I feel like; don’t like it, kick rocks. Or better yet, go get hot and bothered while giving your comrades back massages, whispering sweet nothings into their ear about some JHM car that you feel ‘privileged’ to know about.
What would you have to laugh at me about? These clowns have absolutely nothing on me, other than their butthurt disposition because I don’t always agree with their ‘1/4 estimates’ of what cars ‘should’ run.
I’m not you, so I will try to laugh, Ha, Lo.
Do you recall the lecture he gave you on audibitchzine the other day, where he repeatedly said that everyone over here were clowns except for Count Vaughn? I guess he decided to come back here to show us what a real Audizine clown looks like on Audirevolution. At least he isn’t a racist like Jupiteraudi who showed me his true colors via pm’s.

Have I ever swayed from that opinion? Does it get you get fired up that you can’t reply to me on Audizine so you have to make troll threads over here hoping that I’ll stumble on them ;D
LIFE IS SHORT, GUYS. Don’t sweat the small stuff. A large percentage of posts here are expressing anger and apparent hatred. Maybe you’re all just too young to let bygones be bygones; live and let live. All this useless fighting. Some of you guys need to have a few drinks together.
Anthony got rid of the more knowledgeable Audi enthusiast and left the incompetent idiots , so that he could control them. You should know that by now. You built your car with the intentions of building a beast that performed well at the track, but decided to settle with a car that is mediocre at its best when it comes to a performance car. You are surrounded by people like yourself. People who are afraid to perform. People who would rather post logs all day rather than put your cars to the test. This only benefits the shops that built your flop. They love you, they even tell you that your car has potential. But you and I know that there is nothing to talk about. I’m glad Anthony got rid of me. It made me aware of the bullshitters like you, sexican, nycVR6 and the dozen other idiots that Anthony has control over.
I’ve been kinda regretting not having the 2.7 built to 3.0 but as I read more and more, it appears I can rev higher as a result. What ingredients do I need, other than my already built bottom end, to take advantage of higher RPMs?
This. Independent if whether your car eventually reaches the Holy grail 10 sec quarter (or whatever your goal is), take a breath and give it some time to drive it, enjoy it, work the kinks out to slowly maximize the build. If after that you’re disappointed, then think about upgrading. Don’t get regretful with every whim of what you read from the forums on a given day. Your build should kick butt and be a blast to drive on the street.
I guess I’m getting jumpy since the build is at it’s final stage. Once the tune is set, it’s done - for now. I just need to get Jnaut to log the car and send the ECU back to J-Fonz. I don’t think Jason and The Count are in sync to getting my JHM tune up and running - which I prefer - so I’ll just take the path of least resistance for now.
Jason was originally going to log the car last night but something happened with his phone. So that was postponed until this evening. Hopefully nothing stands in his way tonight.
I bet he hasn’t seen it, as I haven’t seen one of his incoherent rantings about this yet. I’m sure we’ll see one soon though, after he catches his breath from when he reads that ZT switched.
