I believe that’s exactly the situation I am finding myself in at this moment in time. Having done the Suspension, Rims, Brakes & Rotors, Interior and eventually the Stage 1 & 1+ blower I told myself it was mission accomplished. ;D
But, sigh :(, a few weeks on and I almost on a daily basis find myself in the garage tinkering, looking and walking around the car, opening the hood and sometimes I just sit and stare at it and ask myself what next? I just have this unexplainable itch to do something more to it even though it almost tick all the must have mods as it sits. Must be boredom I guess :-

I have been playing with the idea of getting another fast car but I not sure if I really want to do it or not. Would be keeping the S4 regardless but I kind of want to blow away the competition with a different platform. It would be so easy for me to run stupidly fast times on a platform that is still barely being tinkered with.

As jimmy said there are only a small few stage 2 cars. I think we will see loads more in the next few years as it looks like JHMs motor program is ramping up. Ds record is strong and I think it will fall Jason at JHM wen’t like 11.0@130 with his stage 2 so I think its just time till another S4 guy does it. The rs4 cars all have the same blower set up and all kinda matches up with the stage 1+ so in theory if you can keep the power to the pavement the stage 1+ cars should be solid 11 second cars. I’m excited to see jimmy brake Ds record. If that happens I might need to sell my JHM nitrous system and get into the blower game.
It definitely sucks that I haven’t beaten that time yet. For the first year I had the car, it was in Denver, and there was just no way I’d break it there. Since I’ve been back in Chicago, almost 2 years now, it’s been one problem after the other; tune, ECU, transmission, electrical and mechanical cam adjusters, oil lines, alternator coolant line, radiator, pressure plate, 02 sensors, a/c, etc. On top of that, I’ve also had back surgery twice in the last year.
Believe me though, it’s a top priority on my list at this point. Once the pressure plate is swapped out in 2 weeks, I’m going to do everything I can to break the clutch in again so I can make it back to a drag strip before the end of the season. Unfortunately though, the Killer Chiller is just going to need to wait until spring because there’s just not enough time.
