Sweet news! February is only a few days away! ;D I guess I’ll have to investigate what size my Neuspeed muffler pipes are. I know they’re bigger than stock, but not sure the diameter.
Maybe I missed the info somewhere, or drawing a complete mind blank, but PA requires emissions/inspection tests with no CEL to pass. With these downpipes, they remove the 02 sensors correct? So I will be getting a CEL?

I know, I will. Hope to have some time the last weekend of Feb. I’ve had the car over 6 years and a lot has changed, so not sure where to start ha.
Oh, car is no longer supercharged. Ironically, what sold me on the PES kit way back when was Skeeball’s quartermile run of 13.68 at 101.7 in Dec. 06. All he had was a catback and this is a quote from him following his run:
“Because I went to the track simply to work on my driving skills, no attempt was made at weight savings. This is with all the seats, spare tire, 1/2 tank of gas (93 oct), laptop, couple of pounds of tools, etc. You get the idea.”
A decent kit for what I paid for it but I’ve since sold it. Kind of funny that PES or all companies has held this fastest 3.0 title for YEARS, at least from what is available on forums. Just shows how little love the 3.0 has had over the years. A solid gain over stock for sure but I have faith JHM can come pretty close or maybe even match it with their tune and downpipes. But, I’m just waiting for the results like everyone else.
Gotcha. I think I remember you were selling the kit now that you mention it. Are you fully back to stock now?
Yea the 3.0 got nooo love except for the supercharger. I know there’s still a number of people floating around who use it (apparently there’s 1 local to me) they just don’t go on forums. That’s a VERY solid time (skeeball’s) as it puts it easily on par with a b6s4.
My theory on JHM’s tune with dp’s, full exhaust, intake spacers, etc, is that it will either match or beat the performance of the pes s/c. Lol I just want that in writing before the results come out
Engine wise, yeah stock except for the Milltek catback I’ve had forever. Not that its really doing anything but it does sound good. But lots of other mods for handling, braking, comfort, cosmetics, etc.
Yup, Skeeball’s time put the 3.0 comfortably in stock S4 4.2 time, which was good enough for me at the time. Plus he only had a 2.25" Supersprint catback.
I agree. The PES kit certainly made a difference and did what it was supposed to, but really wasn’t the best designed kit in the world (shocking I know).

He’s run it, but hasn’t released times yet.
Im excited to share my results from what the pipes did when they installed them on my A4. I have to say that the 2.5 jump was noticeable not just seat of the pants but when its shorwed to you in electrical monitoring
in for the results.
Any results or hint as to when the downpipes will be available for purchase. Im interested in seeing if they will fit a B7 3.2 since the B6/7 share a lot of parts.

^^^JHM will sit on them till they have all their ducks in the row (i.e. testing done, tune finalised, fabrication process for downpipes/catback done)…and then they’ll produce a very inspiring video with heavy metal music in the background, quarter mile runs, little burnouts at their shop parking lot and general ignorant driving. By the end of the video, you will be so pumped up you will scramble for your wallet to get on board the revolution lol.

when the RS4 hits the rev limiter it makes a really cool POW POW POW sound.
Yeah that video is awesome, I have watched it multiple times. I think we all have.
