Lets talk about mufflers.

Just stating that I’m using his endlinks and they’ve been good so far. Not sure if they’re still in “testing” or not (so I might be a test subject) or if they’re out of testing now. The “accuracy” statement is just to let people know I’ve had them for a bit. Probably wrong choice of words if I’ve confused everyone lol.

I had personally made 6 sets of endlinks which were sold 5-6 months ago after a good bit of testing on my car. Axel got one of these sets, so far we have had zero complaints and no broken parts. The newest ones are a little stronger and all stainless.

yes, that’s what I meant. You were a test subject. A beta tester if you would. The design is still being revised from the sounds of it.

Still hoping to go to the track this summer so we’ll see how they hold up in full hard cornering.

as I’ve said before, it’s a good idea that part…they’re always fucking breaking once you go massive sway.

Hate to go off topic but Track day? I’m heading down to Cayuga on the 26th with a few buddies.

I was thinking of getting a few drag runs in before hand too if the strip is open for test and tune during the day.

It’ll probably be a bit warm to get best times but I just want to get some practice in.

Would like JHM to send me a full out tune before hitting the track. Sent my fuel trims to CountVohn yesterday. Hoping he responds quickly.

for reference some guy ran 13.4 in his RS4 there on a hot day a few years back. You can see it on youtube if you search rs4 cayuga. He had like 1700 kms on the car, so no carbon buildup.

Didn’t you trounce that time?

Yeah (12.75, 12.77, 12.79) but when I ran conditions were decent (density altitude was 250,300 feey…about 12 celsius)

So it looks like my buddy wants to go to Shannonville instead on the 19th:

But if you guys are still good to go to Cayuga some time soon for another drag meet I’m down. It’ll be cool to see what Axel’s car’s pulling now too.

back on topic, magnaflow makes nice mufflers. Maybe that’s what the final product from ebwerks will use? Anyone know if they have an oval tip option?

We have no intention of using Magnaflow right now. Oval tips are standard on our exhaust, I don’t know if we would offer an option for quad tips, possibly but at additional cost.

How about flowmasters?

We have something that works, sounds great, and is very high quality, there is no reason to change unless we find another option that is actually an improvement.

So when do you go into production? Mick still first on the list?

We are already into production, we are waiting for the CNC bent pieces to be finished.

I am not going to discuss customers as that is a private matter. I can say Mick is one of several people who have ordered exhausts so far.

So the Sebrings? For the record is it EBworks, ebworks, EBWERKS or EBwerks? Or ebwerks.

It is EBWerks.

I love how this exhaust sounds, what’s benefits would I see using this Ben? And how do I go about trialling one on supercharged car over here in the uk
