Finally, I can’t wait until he is completely non-JHM…have fun being slow
Fastest posted… i bet there are plenty 3.0 that would smoke his car, which i wouldnt even call an audi anymore.
4 ring honda
LOL.
Oh btw JHM just posted a timeline of their VAST relationship, to clear things up.

Can’t wait for him to put the CCE exhaust on as well as some epl tune and run 12.25 then trash JHM.
He has started laying the groundwork saying the jhm exhaust gave no HP…and it has “cheap Chinese cans” referring to Sebring…even though three Weeks ago he and Ben were extolling the virtues of the sebrings on this very site and their sound.
He’s in pretty deep with those fly by night guys…and is doing everything in his power to hurt their biggest competitive threat…jhm.
Go see if someone can log you in to wayot to see what Micks buddies are saying about his mental campaign behind his back.
^wow now that’s an epic thread
Lol good stuff
Haha that’s interesting. I didn’t give it 2 thoughts when I had my exhaust done. Chop it up and put it in the back. Most exhausts come in shippable pieces so the stocker can be welded or v banded back together.
I literally lol’d at this one:

LMAO… go through all the work to take the stock catback off and then go to a shop and pay someone to put a new one on… Please explain where this makes sense to anybody?
Some of these RS4 owners are just… how can I put this nicely… err, uh, slow?

You mean people will no longer see that mick ran 13.0 in an RS4 with every JHM mod possible? That WHEW noise is the collective sigh of relief over at JHM.
q_batty: Just looked at your mods. Thought you had JHM tune, etc.?? What happened? posted by on 2012-07-09 14:04:42
mickf29: I no longer give JHM free advertising on my signature And i am slowly and methodically removing all JHM items from car as they wear out, opportunity presents itself, or I find a suitable replacement.
I will no longer recommend JHM products to anyone due to continued issues/premature failures of parts they supply, work they do (failed clutch, failed oil cooler lines, slow service, poor delivery performance, poor documentation, not addressing high percentage of infant mortality on clutches).
Of course you can buy their products, but you won’t get a recommendation from me on it.
taking the stock catback off is relatively easy. i just wanted to keep it in one piece. if i were just replacing the catback your comment might even make more sense. but we really know who is slow dont we?
what were you replacing? downpipes and catback? If so, they’re both DIYable. Not sure I would just because I don’t like the thought of being under the car. Life is too short to save $200 by putting myself at risk that way. You could quite easily have removed the catback at home and then had the shop do the downpipes etc.
Not sure why a couple of people were freaking out at the thought of driving with no catback on. It’s loud as hell, but presents no problems. Might make you faster in fact. That was definitely lulzworthy reading.
The catback is what…about 10 feet long? Don’t you have a wagon or an SUV owning friend who could pick it up and drive it to your house from the shop, should you have left it there?
Anyway, what ended up happening? You installed 2.5" ebay downpipes and what catback?

I actually have not done anything with the exhaust. Being annoyed at getting my headlights to line up the way they were prior to me installing the e-code and the fact I have to save some money for my wife’s college tuition put my mods on hold.
I now have one set of oem downpipes, one ebay (ghetto) 2.5" catless downpipes and a full 2.75" exhaust downpipes w/ hf cats, catback with sebring resonators that end with some sebring mufflers/tips.
I was going to put the 2.75" on but most shops want about $475 and I have to take a break from spending on my car til I pay my wife’s college bill at the end of Aug…
what the heck is this…

enriquebenwerks sneak a set of sebrings past Fast Intentions? Danny at FI wil love that.
