lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

a video was posted on quattrofail of the Jeremy Foley crash in the EVO 8. It was during the Pikes Peak Hill Climb race

Classic comment from tweedledee (or is it tweedledum?)
I’m guessing the road was open since he was way off apex which would been in the opposite direction lane.
lol yeah, they kept the road open for tourists during one of the most famous races on the planet. That’s why the guy in the race car understeered off the road and flipped 15 times 200 feet down the mountain. But hey, way to tell us where the ‘apex’ is roadracesuperstar! [thumbs!!!]
Seriously, threatening me on a car forum Joe?

It’s ok if you have a problem with my tact and writing style but this level of maturity from a distinguished forum is incredibly disappointing.
I would have expected you all to hold yourselves to a higher standard, but apparently I was naive.
I want to formally apologize to everyone who I have offended with my 38 posts. It is apparent to me now my love and passion for engine’s clouds my ability to integrate socially.
As I have mentioned before just trying to help, I guess it is not wanted or needed by this community.
So far I have been called a c u n t and stupid for trying to point out MISTAKES, and now you with your antics Joe.
I won’t bother posting anything constructive (not that I have anyway right?) to avoid more confrontation. Besides my ego is far too sensitive to handle the mass rejection.
Have a laugh and post silly comments about me, I’ll be here to read them but I won’t take the time out of my day to respond on this forum anymore; I suppose this is a good thing seeing as how I had nothing to offer you all anyway.

What a sad joke.

Yours truly,

The new leech

Thanks for asking JAQ.

dudeman258 is Walker Clark from Charlotte. Used to live in Maine.

He is a big tough guy soldier (when it comes to online gaming). In real life, he is currently fat and trying to lose weight on bodyspace.com.

PS… yes Im a BF3’er !!! ;D

aaaaaaaand its gone

that thread was funny though…it was 5 pages of battles and at the end of the day, when the unitronic tune was tested, it was nowhere near as good as the JHM tune…and the Unitronic guys STILL haven’t 1/4 miled the car yet after how many years and promises?

heres some unitronic rs4 testing
I was going to keep these comments to myself but since my last post was ignored and followed by sales bullshit –

So at Waterfest when I asked for the tune, first off, the gentleman I talked to behind the counter had to ask if they even had a tune for the RS4. That made me a little skeptical right there, and when I asked what the improvements with the tune were, he simply said “446hp.” I asked a couple of other questions that the sales guy couldn’t provide answers to either, saying “it’s all right there on the website.”

I gave Unitronic the benefit of the doubt and went with the tune, mainly because I have heard too many other horror stories with the seemingly more powerful JHM tune for these cars. I can’t say whether the tune did anything for my car or not. By the butt dyno, no difference. On paper? Idk. I would have liked to log the car before and after to see what these “tunes” actually do. I’m afraid I just bought into a gimmick.

I was under the impression that this tune would code out the rear O2’s and now I have been informed there is a “catless” version of the tune which I didn’t know at the time of purchase. I would recommend you guys inquiring to go with a custom tune if you are looking for the most out of these cars. All these other off the shelf tunes don’t do much at all. I hate to say it but if I were to do it again, I would either get a custom tune or just wait for JHM to get their shit in check. If the $800 is worth it to you for someone to read off of a sheet to you, “446hp”, then go for it.

Yeah I saw that ^, I think Saki quote or linked to it on AR in another thread too. Not surprising imo.

It’s EXTREMELY surprising when you hear Krytponik saying he thinks his Unitronic is equal to his JHM stuff. I mean I don’t think he’s being paid to say stuff like that by KMD or anything but WTF is he talking about? He already admitted in the past that…

JHM tune/exhaust > PES supercharger + milltek > Unitronic NA tune + milltek

… How he says they’re equal now, I have no idea. Something must have gone down that would lead him to throw JHM under the bus like that… Or to try to throw them under the bus. I’m not too sure anyone will listen to his comments other than the quattrofail guys who love to hate the Lathrop California boys.

When I’m bored, I’ll post up kryptonik’s old posts about his unitronic setup, then his PES setup, then his JHM setup.

definitely just pissed my pants…thanks for that Saki. I don’t mind being corrected, or having someone add valuable input, but he was being arrogant as fuck and I hate this sig about his “ricer wheels”

Looks like B6Joe and JohnnyAlQaeda both got suspended from Nazi-zine for their part in that thread. When you get an infraction, you know it must have been good. I bet that Walker kid cried to the mods about them.

lol

johnnyalqaeda called the kid cunty, so I guess that’s infraction worthy

joe…not sure…he just linked to this thread here. I don’t see why he got one.

another Unitronic tune lol…
I’m very interested in this for the 4.2 a6 but do you offer calibrations for a 6 speed swap?

Also curious about this. My motor is nearly that of an s6, but not quite.

This^ I will be doing a 6 speed swap on my S6 at some point will the tune be compatible?

Your talking about your ecu? if our tune will work with the new tranny? then sure it is! because the ecu only controls the engine!
lol, very knowledgeable sales staff… clearly they have no investment in the V8s

plus I just noticed the picture they used in their ad has a 2.0 C5 Avant and a non-S6 C5 sedan

lolol that guy is fucking retarded

someone knowledgeable who I know got a free trial of their tune on his 2.0T when unitronic was trying to get his shop to be a dealer, but when he looked at the parameters he nearly choked on his coffee. Not only was it needlessly aggressive in areas…the tune was barely making the car any faster than stock. Needless to say they passed lol.

Beem took NastyNogaro’s comments, not Dave’s (Kryp’s). My comments were referring to Nasty’s lack luster review that Beem copied and pasted. To me, it’s not surprising at all.

I was a bit surprised by Kryp’s comments on other forums. I also remember his evolution of parts changing and increasingly positive comments as he swapped from one manufacturer to the other. AT one point he said he felt the JHM set-up was as fast if not faster than his PES S/C set-up he ran. I don’t know the reasons (if any) behind his change of mind other than what he posted on AZ or QW. I don’t recall him saying the JHM performance was equal to Uni’s anywhere though.

here it is…
Originally had the Unitronic tune both when I was N/A and PES supercharged (they did wonders for the s/c kit).

Didn’t really feel much of a difference going from Unitronic N/A to JHM N/A… then again that’s just my butt dyno. Although this might be a minor point, one thing that I liked about the Unitronic tune over JHM was that they eliminated the CEL for highflow cat/cat-less, JHM’s tune still shows a CEL with the JHM exhaust. JHM’s launch assist, never had the need to use it.

Currently looking to get back into a Unitronic tune after I get my Milltek cat-less DPs & non res exhaust.
I did read that, I guess I forgot the middle paragraph. Weird. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to catch up with him next time I see him at a rally/meet and get his position in more detail. I’m curious.

I would like to know what he means when he says Unitronic ‘did wonders for the PES supercharger kit’.

Isn’t this the PES supercharger kit that ran 12.6 @ 110 on an ice cold night? i.e. the same time that (slower actually) that elevens ran with just a 93 octane GIAC tune on his RS4? i.e. 1 tenth and 2 mph faster than my bone stock car?

I don’t get it. Does he own Unitronic distribution rights in America or something? Reminds me of Phil Mickelson who out of the blue stopped saying he loved In-N-Out burgers, and was actively saying Five Guys Burgers and Fries was the greatest burger on earth. Then Stewart Cink, another TOUR player, revelaed on Twitter that Phil Mickelson owned the rights to Five Guys in Southern California.
