lol ‘here we go supercharger’
Will be interesting to see what an M112 can do. I’m guessing on pump gas, good driver, full interior - 12.30 @ 113-114
Kind of funny how many people don’t know what the M112 is (or that it’s not what PES used to use)
Someone should do what Cobra guys do and port an M112. I actually wonder what a ported M90 could do. Just thinking out loud
vwrcer had a ported m90 on his s4, think he may have dumped that for an m112 though
I believe that’s what he has, a ported M112:
its an mp 112 capable of 600whp lots of drag race mustang guys use them ,flows 35% more then the regular m112
m112 is from eaton, mp112 is from magnuson. Same displacement, but the mp doesnt have all of the noise restricting design features (more whine, more flow). The aftermarket companies use their own prefixes with the displacement suffix, htv for harrop, mp for magnuson, eaton only makes oem blowers and contracts out the aftermarket.
could do a m122, think thats from the gt500
call me skeptical if you’d like but last time I checked the M112 and MP112 maps provided by the manufacturers (and commented on by the manufacturers) they were light years from 600 whp capable. That’s him smoking a pipe causing him to dream.

Saki its just like turbos, people run them well outside their design limits.
yeah, I get that, but to make an M112 make 700+ crank HP a.k.a. flow more than 1100 CFM…that’d be as likely as taking one of the 4’10" 92 pouind pedophile’s dream gymnast girls from the Olympics and having her win the weightlifting title over this broad (yes she’s a broad…and she lifted 411 lbs)

^Good god… At first glance, that beast being a woman didn’t even cross my mind.
Thanks Beem, shows what I know about supercharger models!
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/500389-TiAL-605-B5-S4-vs-APR-Stage-2-B8-S4
This one will be interesting, but the vid is horrible… I like how the paperplastic dude is faster than all the S4’s he raced… No 1/4 mile times though…
He’s in California, so if he were to hit the strip, he would run 12.60 @ 109 and would have a list of excuses (heat related) as long as your arm.
Of course JHM still runs their cars and sets records in California…and a bunch of west coast cars are super fast. It’s just the big talkers that aren’t.
However in signal green’s defence, a REVO tuned car should whip the shit out of an APR car. I don’t dispute that.
Look at the quarter mile chart. Make your way over to the pump gas section since that’s what people run in the real world (i.e. in highway pulls)…the REVO cars are superstars. We have a couple of good pump gas times from 81beers and kavan when they were being pushed by that massive tailwind, but otherwise, the REVO cars are doing some damage.
The fastest quarter mile time on pump gas is a tie between fonzie and tribe. Fonzie ran that time at the always fast for some reason Palm Beach IR. He ran 12.28 with tune/catback and highflow cats and a couple of other little bits. He is tied with tribe who ran 12.28 on 93 with a REVO tune and an intake.
The next fastest car on pump gas is auditurd…with nothing but REVO 93. Then jspazz with his stage II APR car, and he ran that time in something like -1000 feet DA.
So there’s certainly some merit in what paperishplastic is saying about winning races. Most of the APR tune only times are barely faster than stock. In fact I should correct that - there is not one APR car that with just a pump gas tune went faster than the fastest stock time (12.69). Hell, there’s not even an APR or GIAC or STASIS pump gas tune only B8 S4 that is even faster than my stock RS4 time of 12.75. The one tune that is able to make a difference with just software is REVO. And REVO is killing engines to do it. So much for that argument in the tsivas logging thread on AZ.
Saki, Yeah 1fastscammer ran at Sac with a good DA so he could make his way up there… Yes, a Revo tune car is fast and we both know why… He said he will be running 100 tune soon… wonder if he will push 36 degrees of timing? KABOOM…
There are a few tune only or tune/exhaust/intake stage 1/1+ APR times better than 12.69 but most of the drivers have done better since and APR has removed their older times, but I get your point…
Oh and I run pump gas exclusively:)

lolol
marc (10SecondS4) who had a gutted B5 S4 on nitrous and K04 turbos used to joke that he ran pump because the E85 that his car was tuned for came out of a pump at a local station . Didn’t work!
One of the things about the quarter mile database here is that all times will be left in unless you beat your old time with the same modlist/octane. i.e. if I go and run 12.75 on 93, and then 12.55 on 100, both times will be on the list. If I run 12.55 with a catback on 93, that will also be added. More data = better. I did that for jspazz I believe because he went 12.4 on pump and 12.08 on race.
You should send me a couple of your other times because when I entered the data from this list here, I just use what Arin had on the sheet on AZ. I am sure you ran in like 5 different configurations, so we should have all 5 of them up there.
p.s. re the REVO race file…I am surprised at the timing. I don’t get that they don’t get that supercrazy timing can actually make you slower, as well as being dangerous. I really hope they re-think their strategy. That Stasis REVO partnership could be a disaster lol. I hope Stasis has insurance!
That…that did not go well for unitronic. Unimoronic.

Audi B5 S4 / RS4 ECU Tuning Software - 2.7T - by Unitronic
Wow…this must be a trap to ensnare grammar Nazis.
One of these.
no really! i know at first your all saying, your nuts. But think about it, not all that different then are cars when you brake it down. Roomy 4-door, AWD/4WD, V8 with gobs of power, wide stance, semi-exclusive.
Whats not to love?
^ lol - I read the post and thought something similar.
lol, read what pat has been saying in the Unitronic B6/7 S4 thread. Someone asked how they make power and he started talking about the boost control valve
He is pure comedy gold
Go check out the B5 Unitronic thread.
So i just contacted VF Engineering… seems we are getting a TVS-1900 roots type blower. 40% HP increase over stock @ about im guessing $8k.
saw this on AZ regarding the S5… lol at $8k for a VF blower kit
