Overally that exhaust isn’t the best but it’s not the worst. On the good side it has a narrow-x, and it’s 2.5…but then again there’s 360 degrees in bends per side. I like the adapter they include for those installing it on a stock DP and then upgrade to 2.5. Just remove the adapter

He made some weakass comments basically making excuses about the dragstrip (before he even went) then a few posts on this site mention that, and how lame and disappointing that is. So for that, he goes and starts a thread bashing this site? Pathetic.

Then evilevo says all AR cares about is drag racing? No for fucks sake…it’s just the straight line accleration/power test this site seems to care the most about. It’s honest, it can’t be cheated and it highlights how hot your car is in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th…the 4 gears we accelerate in the most. That’s it! There are maybe 2 guys on the site who go to the dragstrip more than 4 times a year. There are hundreds who recognize the data a timeslip provides (and how easily it can validate other things like a dyno etc.)

Guys like that (with 7billion whp 13 second cars) love to say ‘these aren’t built for the racetrack’. Well…what the fuck did you build a car with 700 whp for? Cruising to work? Street racing? Getting your pregnant wife to the hospital real quick? Part time work as a pizza delivery man? No…you built it to accelerate balls deep. The dragstrip is a fantastic place to do this legally, and the array of timing equipment will tell you if your build it working or not. It’s really simple.

I don’t get it. Did Lamborghini build the Aventador for the dragstrip? Nissan and the GTR? Porsche and the 997 turbo S? Nope. But they’re built to accelerate balls out, just like these guys built their billion whp cars…and the dragstrip is a fantastic way to show how well the car works. A 13 second timeslip with a modest trap (relative to the dyno sheet) is a great way to show how poorly the car works…thus they begin to try to discredit the dragstrip.
