has poor reaction time-poor reaction times= a miracle to get past third round of eliminations
if driver can’t get a consistant launch, launch with less RPM, or rent a car that can launch consistantly
MPH comparison should be closer. unless driver lifted during trap speed measurement.
perhaps wind velocity or direction, my local track has this problem-sears point, infineon, sonoma raceway, whatever they wanna call it this week
same E.T. to the thousandth of a second, now that’s impressive and doubt it could happen again.
No I’m not kidding. By his rationale you should only attempt a motorsports discipline in the most optimal car. Therefore his b6 s4 is a fucking joke with 62% of its 3820 lbs of heft over the front axle, and a differential that apportion 50% / 50% front rear torque distribution.
He needs a mid engined 2600 lb lotus. Or a cayman. Etc.
He really needs a driver mod and fucking catback at least, but all he does is complain about shit. He is horrible for JHM tune business. Luckily I posted my time from stock—>tune/mods progression.
On a side note, I really want to run on of these UM tuned (Jeff Atwood) cars that keep fucking popping up.
What cars are tuned by him other than vwrcer? (who I will need to call vwricer until he puts his rings back on and stops shaving roof rails and Window wipers. All he needs is the side cocked front plate) .
Most likely, but so would driving MANY other cars down the 1/4. But we each have the car we have so why not make the most of it?
The beauty of getting on a road course is that you are using every bit of the car and can really appreciate how well the car is “synchronized”. I mean who doesn’t love driving balls out on a country backroad but without the fear of getting a ticket or worrying about a nutty oncoming driver?
I understand the point you are trying to make here but I was actually referring to your original statement of “What’s dumber is going to the road course in your poorly setup, 62% front biased 3800 LB understeering pig” and then you confirming that you weren’t kidding about that. But anyways…I am a big fan of just enjoying driving…
First he claims he ran a 12.26 in his RS4 while trying to have a kick at Axel.
And slower than my all motor albeit 3635lb RS4 at 12.26! Which of course was picked apart and surrounded with their conspiracy theories.
Then euroswagr and axel called him out and asked him for his timeslip. How does Mick reply? He is begging us to believe him.
Whats so hard to believe about a 12.260 in 55 degrees with a tightened up shifter and 1/4 tank less gas?
Then he gets pressed again for a timeslip…and now he is just a trapped rat, claiming he won’t post the timeslip to piss people off, and says everyone on AR is just haters. lol. Actually we just hate liars. So yes, we are collectively ‘haters’ of mick.
Nah, i will just say I am not going to post it up to watch you guys debate it. I don’t care.
Actually mick, you not posting a timeslip just PROVES that you are indeed a fucking liar. It makes many of us who know the real you smile, because now EVERYONE can see what a douchebag you are. Making shit up to feel better about the $100,000 you spent on your RS4. You’re a nobody. We all know this guy lives and dies by his internet life, and you can bet your balls he has all of his timeslips categorized and sorted etc.
Euroswagr presses him again. Let’s see the timeslip Mick. Or you’re a liar. Does he come through? Nope…here comes the clincher
Well it will forever be a lie because I know for a fact I do not have the slips anymore.
UH OH…He lost the timeslips. And his homework. lol.
What’s his next claim? Next he is rabbiting on about how he talked about his 12.26 on quattroworld as well as his 12.40…and never posted scans of either slip, so why do we believe the 12.40 not the 12.26? Because 12.40 is irrelevant. 12.26 is a fucking all motor record. That’s why.
Again you fail at comprehension. I said clearly I told everyone at QW about my runs. I did not say I posted my slips. Which I never scanned in.
But let’s check that…
If you search quattroworld B7 RS4 section for posts with 12.40 in them, we see a few.
Mick talking about Dan@JHM
Mick talking about his own personal best.
others referncing Dan@JHM going 12.40 in 2011
etc
The real story is that I ran 12.26 in my jetta, Mick was there. He stole the timeslip, went home to post it online, but it blew out his window on the drive back.
Don’t forget your AWD burnouts…or that Canadian RS4s are lighter…
While your at it let’s discuss the ethanol in gas between every country in the world and make a huge deal about the DA having a difference of 100 fucking feet
I find myself spending a lot more time in the AZ B6/B7 S forums, mainly to educate or entertain myself…here’s a thread that has both (it might get interesting or just fizzle off):
Haha, no worries dude…to me I’m honestly trying to help, but I can come across as harsh or condescending. I’m glad you got on board and I’m sure that you couldn’t be happier. I almost gave up on you though, I think we probably would have came to terms a little quicker if the Marine thing came up sooner.
This troy guy is something else…definitely was a GTI guy…now he is ours…lol Saki described him best…“he is frustrating” Hopefully he drives better around turn than he does in a straight line!
[:D] I’ll be in the Jax, NC for a friends surprise birthday at the end of May; maybe we can meet up for a beer. I won’t have the Avant though as I rented a Traverse for a two family trip to Myrtle and the Jax stop is last before returning to DC.
This Troy guy now thinks a private road course, with non-track cars, do not use ABS. I use ABS in my crown vic under the idea of rolling friction is better than zero-sliding friction ala road driving 101. He’s definitely a trip.
