MDUBZ Intro and B6 S4 Build Thread

Damn, everytime I turn around there is one more stage! Well that makes sense now why we haven’t seen many stage 3’s or why the kit isn’t really advertised either. I feel like if you shelled out the money to build the engine, you might as well take her the whole way, get all the horseponies.

Maybe stage 4 can compete with this 830whp rs4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbtiU-ZniNw

lol le jokes, actually the guy is a local and he owns the body shop that fixed my car when it was rear ended. that 830 whp is more like 350whp on a good day. Pretty sick setup though, cameras intergrated into the front and rear license plates, custom euro rs4 seats with matching back covers, crazy amp setup in the back. The meth kit looked like a pretty cool install too, one of a kind stop tech brake kit, but i think it was a pes blower, i don’t remember but it wasn’t 830whp fast.

I take the forum too far? That’s rich

Was Peter Griffen int he car with him?

Lol. Whoa ho ho… holy crap!

So…you gonna be back for July 3rd? A group of us Audi guys are going to High Plains Raceway, you should show up and set some benchmarks.

I’ll be back this Friday in time for the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack. You should come. If you bring your helmet you can jump in the car for a race or 2 as well. Let me get back to you about July 3rd. I think I can make it but I need to double check.

Deal! Looks like you have to buy tickets right? Which day are you going to be down there?

Saturday. I need to be there by 8am since I’m racing.

Got a little video from the California trip. It was about 95 degrees out in Lathrop but the car pulled like crazy. If you watch closely at the end you will see JHM on the right side of the screen. Enjoy

Nice man. The JHM intercooler really makes a big difference.

I have been there before.

That’s epic man! If you’re free any time this week you should totally stop by my place so I can maybe get a ride

Yep, wonderful central cal summer weather. Dont miss it one bit. Car sounds strong.

what happened at the Sac dragstrip? How about the pikes peak airstrip event?

It makes a huge difference. I actually didn’t realize until I spoke with Jason that he actually fabricated that intercooler. If I loaded it with ice I would have seen at least another pound of boost, maybe 2.

For sure man, you working on the car this weekend I’m assuming? I’ll roll by to help and go for a cruise.

Thanks man, yeah it sucks, but it was better conditions than I’ll ever see in Colorado.

Ended up getting the car back Friday night rather than Wednesday afternoon. They applied a ceramic sealant to the engine so it’d stop chugging coolant which took a few days. I rolled into Sacramento around 8:30pm which left me with an hour and a half to unload my car, wait in line, and maybe get 1 run in. It was also going to cost nearly $100 for the 1 pass and waiting in line so I just gave up.

Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack was the next morning so I didn’t have enough time to make it. Got home around midnight on Saturday.

I’m going to try and make it back to Sacramento in November for the JHM Sacramento drag night

cool. Will be good to see it run in good conditions rather than the heat.

We have a drag night next week ;D

A cool thing about that video is you are going up an incline too :stuck_out_tongue:

Used the rest of my vacation time to come out there last month >:(

I should have enough by November though

wow your car was moving in that video. Sounded so good. Looks like your shifting is getting a little better. keep working at it and keep the updates coming

Thanks Justin. Still working on that 1-2 shift. I feel like I’m pretty good at nailing the 2-3 shift, just not quite perfect yet. It’s really hard to improve when you only drive 2,000 miles in a year and it’s all city driving. My cruising shifting is pretty damn good though  Hoping to get some racing/track videos soon.
