I put in 4 Hitachi injectors to replace the ones that did not pass after cleaning. The car runs great so far (2000km)
And job done, deleted all errors, tommorow teat drive

Congrats man. Hope it was a glorious drive.
Probably a night and day difference now that youâve got a full set of working injectors and working 2stage intake! Good work - thanks for the pics!
Yes. Please share. I was in the same position you were inânewly cleaned fuel injectors have the car running smoothly (I blame the bad gas I bought on a drive through Croatia last summer ;-). But I still have a hacked IM with the intake flaps removed. I was waiting for a successful redesign to prevent another failure.
I still love driving the car, but Iâm trying to remember whatâs itâs like to have a 2nd stage to the IM
tomorrow its going again on dyno so well see difference.
when i buy a car, it had broken 4 flaps, and error light on, so it was never good, but now, it is totally different car, i cannot compare before or now, maybe like before was s6 and now rs6, massive difference. its pulling from low revs and high. also in manual shifting and going into turn and kicking foot pedal, ass is slides.
still no any errors except DTC Fault Memory (post details today).
last week on dyno during second run when engine get some error and drop power, it was almost all O2 lambda sensors - too rich/ to late respond and after delete it is ok, im try to get at least 200km, if in that range will not be any error or light, then all is fine
Ja, one run with Performance Cam on smartphone. Road was going uphill from beginning

25.2 sec on 1000m is incorrect because i was slowing down
One thing i forgot mentioned. When i installed JHM IM spacer, and also deleted colant pines into IM. Those two hoses was just conected together, but, after some time i get crack on one where is crossover from rubber to plastic resulting loss of collant liquid wery quickly.
To fix that simply cut ruber hose and connect to another, delete plastic part

Yes that crappy Y section brakes on almost everyone over time. Good move to just replace it. Also good to hear that your getting the car running how it should be.
The dyno is a nice tool but you have to be really careful with the dyno and the new cars. They dont always dyno well for several reasons. So keep a few things in mind when your testing. If the oil temps are different you will get a different result. Same goes for too rich EGT temps. Since the car is a NA car swings in outside temps will also greatly effect the cars power. It used to be a thing with carbon cleans were a few guys got a base dyno on there car as the before on a carbon clean. But the before was in August and the carbon clean got done in october and just the temp difference alone would have been good for several hp.
K&N filters washed

RED is with new intake, BLUE with old/broken
large diagram is power on wheels
360.8NM and 196.8kw - 263.9hp
and bottom small diagram is engine power, 347.7hp

on this diagram, blue is first run, and red is second.
top is wheels power, bottom engine
first run get 335.8hp and second 347.7HP from engine

Forgot to mention, i did compression test, and result is good, its not all the same but its arround 185psi, +/- 5psi max

based on the 20% drivetrain loss rule for AWD cars, thatâd be somewhere around stock advertised power of 435hp right?
AudiS6 great work this really shows how a broken intake can keep the car from performing like it should.
As for the two runs with the good intake thats whats kinda hard with these cars. You can see the car made two passes on the new intake and there was a 10hp difference. The second pull will usually do better due to the fact that your pulling in cool air on the first run that helps cool the car down for the second run. So usually the second run does better. This dosent happen every time but it is in part why its hard to get a solid dyno figure on NA cars. All around great work thanks for putting this up
New mode, open flaps - straight pipe, sound priceless
