My S6 Full build from start till now

We are on the same page. I wasn’t sure if he was on the stock tune or not but hunch he didn’t with the results.

For reference a stock e60 M5 does 360-385 whp and the quarter in 12.1-12.3 when it is working of course :wink: slightly less overall drivetrain loss due to Single clutch manual and rwd. When they are FBO they are 415-430+ whp cars.

C/n: let’s see a car without primary cats and/or headers run <=12.5 :slight_smile: once it’s in shouting distance to the e60 that is a good feat and what I always wanted for my first s6. Only reason it wouldn’t do as fast is the c6 s6 is slightly more of a pig and slower transmission , I’d still put money on the s6 to 60-70 mph. On a roll the e60 destroys they are impressive hwy top speed even stock due to trans gearing. However Tipin on the s6 would still be damn impressive. And one word Torque, which trumps the whole conversation above, well that and <8 mpg.

Last dyno with new IM and no CEL errors was 198.6kw on whells. Now arround 241kw. Fuel was 95 oct, 4th gear on both times. And stock ecu tunea

That’s about what most guys see with just removing the cats some see a little more. So it looks like the unequal length headers didn’t really do much and depending on the collector they might have hurt performance but to what extent would be hard to tell. Overall if you get the 02s worked out and the car running well. the exhaust you built looks great and with mo cats should be fun for a long time.

What was stock again, and other comparable cars what do they dump? Any plans to hit the track?

The Tq graph looked like the car downshifted on the pull? Not sure the car would loose hp and tq with no cats. Thanks for posting the graph up.

Looks like close to what you would expect with just removed cats. It didn’t shift the Tq curve like equal length headers with a merge collector and shotgun tube placement do but 40+ whp and the price you paid. It looks like a win to me.

And not good again, intake manifold runner control stuck, bank1/2. Lower motor, work fine but sometimes get stuck… Next week pull IM out and see what is problem

what was the issue and your fix with the lower motor?

LOL yeah you kinda need that for the unit to work. GREAT WORK membership bump from me.

This capacitor get of from el. board. On vcds scan sometimes was bank1/bank2 runer stuck open or close. Will try upload video of faulty work.
After soldering back, its working all fine. And save 280$

Wow it was still trying to move did the capasitor falling off make it jam like that… Was the capasitor on and working at the beginning of the video and fell off during. Or will the motor work for a short bit all the time and then fault out.

Its working for short time and stop like in video, and after deleting errors, work again and stop, and all time like that. I used bluetoot obd2 scan with Torque.apk on smartphone, so durring drive car when CEL pop up just click delite button and all errors are gone for some time
