We are on the same page. I wasn’t sure if he was on the stock tune or not but hunch he didn’t with the results.
For reference a stock e60 M5 does 360-385 whp and the quarter in 12.1-12.3 when it is working of course slightly less overall drivetrain loss due to Single clutch manual and rwd. When they are FBO they are 415-430+ whp cars.
C/n: let’s see a car without primary cats and/or headers run <=12.5 once it’s in shouting distance to the e60 that is a good feat and what I always wanted for my first s6. Only reason it wouldn’t do as fast is the c6 s6 is slightly more of a pig and slower transmission , I’d still put money on the s6 to 60-70 mph. On a roll the e60 destroys they are impressive hwy top speed even stock due to trans gearing. However Tipin on the s6 would still be damn impressive. And one word Torque, which trumps the whole conversation above, well that and <8 mpg.
