Car’s bone stock.
yeah, only thing I’ve done is upgrade the radio lol. I bought the new high def version of the RNSe with the 32GB x 2 SDHC card capacity. That’s good for 30 whp
Interesting to look at a good stock time vs. a good ‘just a tune’ time. Elevens and I are seperated by 2 mph and 2 tenths. He really just has a GIAC tune and is carbon free, while I have no tune and 35k miles of carbon. Both got the same 60 foot times. Both shifted gears well. He ran in better density altitude (-400 feet while I was +281 feet).
So two tenths is it for GIAC + carbon clean. Pretty interesting.
Great runs guys! ESP SackOfMojo way to go buddy, that is the driving I am talking about! Way to set the record.
I was just browsing youtube and they suggested I watch this:

That’s the PoS S/C RS4 running 12.6 @ 111. Just thought it was interesting in light of sakimano’s stock run, even if it was stripped interior on C16 with a custom tune by HOBO tuning.
great job. Its great to see your enjoying the new car
Yeah stranger still was the elevens time of 12.56 @ 110…with just a giac tune and an hpipe
Shows how truely useless that m90 is on a 4.2 v8
after 6 years, 75,000 miles and lots of smiles I sold the RS4.
It was a sad day to an extent…first car I’ve ever really been sad to see go. We had 3 cars and only have 2 garage spaces so one had to go. Having just bought the tesla, and needing the utility of the wagon for the summer, so it made sense that the RS4 should move on. I also had an interested buyer who I knew, so it made it a little easier.
The worst part was the day the seller was collecting it with a flatbed tow (he hadn’t yet registered it etc) I was out of town, and when I was on my way back home on the highway, I saw the flatbed with the RS4 stopped at a rest stop on the other side of the highway. That was rough haha I wanted to go get her back.
Anyway, it’s off to a good home, and like a dog that is moving to the country, the owner said I can come see it anytime.

Wow - the end of an era. Hopefully the new owner treats the RS4 with as much care as you did. It’s such a special car, so I can imagine it was difficult letting her go.

it really was…I was so sad haha
I saw one last night (I’ve only seen one in the past 30 days since it went) and was marvelling at how awesome it looked. Joked to my wife ‘I should get one of those’.
The problem is now they’re all about 4 owners deep, 100,000 miles, and 9 years old. If you sell yours today, you can’t go back. If I had more garages I would 100% have kept it. I’m not going to keep it in storage somewhere, but if I had 4 garage house I’d have kept it there and driven it 2 days a week for sure.

WHAT…This sucks… well you still have an Audi so its not that bad LOL but man the RS4 gone…Those cars are going to be a classic if you ask me. MAN that sucks to hear but if your happy with the sale that’s good. Hope to still have you on as part of the enthusiast audi club and a member of AR you have been a big part to both

it’s true. I was at a Porsche dealer on the weekend and the salesman said ‘that’s a shame’ when I told him I’d just sold an RS4 privately. He said he’s pretty sure they won’t depreciate much more than 10-15% over the next 3-4 years.

Damn, sorry to hear that but I guess family priorities comes first. Gauranteed you will miss the RS4 in days to come if my personal experience is anything to go by!

After only 8 months with the Tesla Model S 70D, I sold it.
I initially got it by taking over someone’s lease because I wanted to see if I liked the electric car thing or if it was a royal pain in the ass. I liked the car, liked the concept but wasn’t sure and didn’t want to buy something crazy expensive only to have it be a waste. Here in Ontario our sales tax or 13% applies to just about everything, including used cars.
So the lease was short enough that if I wanted to walk away I wouldn’t have to wait too long. The neat thing is TEsla prices their leases poorly…basically they set the residual FAR too low (the regular cars don’t depreciate nearly as quickly as the lease prices them too) so the buyback is always low and the lease cost is always too high. As a result don’t lease a new Tesla. Take someone’s over from leasebusters in canada or from swapalease in america. If you find one that’s only a year or so to go, you’ll be in good shape because the payments+buyback at the end will likely be below market value and you’ll be inheriting the equity the previous lessee.
Anyway, after 8 months I decided that I liked the car a lot, and the concept even more, so I decided to look for a replacement for it. Found one from Tesla (pre-owned) and bought out/traded in the white Model S 70D and rolled the big chunk of equity I had into the price of the new car.
Bought a P90D (the older style as this has the best autopilot and is still a bit ahead of the refreshed ones with respect to some of the features. Price helps too. Black one with black NextGen seats (while I liked the white car with the grey wheels, it had a tan interior and that was never my favourite) and autopilot, air suspension, 21" grey turbine wheels (that weigh 35-37 lbs each…boat anchors. Might grab some forged Arachnids) etc. Really cool car. I’ll do some acceleration testing when the weather improves. I already did a quick rip from 0-60 mph (96.6 kmh = 60 mph) in about the worst conditions possible and it was pretty quick at about 3.5 seconds. Just insane mode, half battery, cold battery, freezing cold tires and it took off pretty hard. Full battery is much quicker, as is warm battery. Will be fun testing this car over time.
Nice, any pics?
