PCV elimination, VTA

Oh Dear that’s not good. I did think when you said where the filters were on your car you would probably end up either moving them or closing them off !!

I bet you have been feeling very happy driving your car since doing this mod what with all the fumes !!:joy::joy:

I have the prototype set, received them on Wednesday but I have numerous underlings on vacation so I’ve been too busy to even look at them much. Working the day job through today (7 days in a row) but off on Monday thank god. Will do the first test fit then.

Ok buddy thanks for letting us know !
Try not to work to hard mate and keep the amber nector intake up I find that always helps lol.

Hopefully Monday your know a little more :blush::+1:

Any news on this yet buddy ?

Hey @Ape_Factory …any news buddy ??

Anyone know how to clone yourself??? Sorry Steve, zero updates. Still sitting on my desk. The rollout with the new carbon ceramic rotors is taking up all my time (just had our first successful track outing on Monday/Tuesday and dropped 3 seconds a lap WITH traffic!) and I’m introducing a clutch for the Lamborghini Gallardo as well. I may not get to it until late NEXT week. Have a huge weekend project starting Saturday that’l run me through Tuesday (garage).

Oh mate you know you love it lol.
Sounds as tho things are going well tho I’m really pleased for you.

3 seconds a lap with traffic is good going nice one and those brakes sound awesome !!
The Lamborghini Gallardo clutch sounds interesting too !

Keep me posted as to how you get on once you have tested them and let me take some of your hands asap :kissing_heart:

Cheers mate :blush:

Any closer to this project yet buddy ??

I’ll definitely take the #2 spot after Steve of course.

Is there any update on this mod at all @Ape_Factory ???
It’s been awhile now and was hoping this mod is going in the right direction !!

Cheers buddy :+1:

@Ape_Factory
Any update?

I’ve spoken to Ape about this and he needs to do a bit more research on the PVC elimination kit.

He has said he will do this in the fall when he has a bit more time to do it.
So hopefully it won’t be to long :blush:

Thanks mate
That’s autumn yeah?

Soon enough you guys will be talking like us Yanks :slight_smile:

Yes mate :blush::+1:

Temps were dropping but they jumped back into the 90’s sadly. Was in the garage for four hours yesterday and it was just brutal. Thank god for cold beer.

I think I have a solution but I need to work it out and it may end up costing more in the end than what I have now but it’ll be less expensive than new PCV valves and help diminish one more source of carbon buildup.

That’s great news buddy nice one, it sounds very promising :blush: keep us posted !!
Cold beer is the best beer :beers::beer::disappointed_relieved:

Has there been any progres on the PCV reroute?

I would really like to remove the Supercharger from this system…

Was just thinking the same thing ! Any news yet buddy :+1:

Elmo, the PCV mod is being designed for the CFSA RS4/RS5, is yours a 3.0t or a 4.2? You might be out of luck but maybe some of the design aspects can be carried over.
