Current form: Stasis SLâs / Tubi Axle back / JHM LW Rotors / 034 Trans Mount / Apikol Diff Mount / Hotchkis F&R Sways / Stern End Links / Stop Tech SS brake lines / MTM 10MM spacers / (The rest is aesthetics; led bulbs, CF 3rd engine cover, tint, etc and vag com stuff). No tune, all 4 cats in place, stock clutch etc.)
If I canât âcompeteâ in the stock category, lol, then Iâll wait to put the go fast parts on and just chase George. I will do a âcurrent set-upâ pass though so I can compare against full bolt on later in the year.
But of course you need a nearly stock run. Or a stock exhaust + tune rune (which is basically stock). You wonât get jnautâs title away, but if you are faster you can certainly trash talk him a bit.
I know the LW rotors flag me as a no-go-stock-carâŚ
I plan on running in the current trim.(Faux stock)
Then again once I flash the tune back on, install the 2.75" exhaust, install the I/M spacers, the LWCP and finally the Stage IV clutch/LWFW (which I still have to order.) I figure after breaking in the clutch it will be end of summer (assuming we can flash by then, lol) so I have time to work on my faux stock times a bit.
lol. I donât think that will happen. I will more than likely have an in car camera and hopefully someone filming from the sidelines. They will see that I am running all out everytime and no sand bagging will be taking place.
make sure you run 13.0+ on the JHM tune/exhaust otherwise the quattrofail guys wonât be nice to you. Gotta be careful because youâre dangerously close to being labelled a JHM nutswinger.
Mick has toned down his JHM talk quite a bit after the initial backlash, or so it seems. Itâs pretty lame that those guys effectively admonish him for buying parts for his car that kick ass. Hand it to mickâŚhe did his homework, bought good stuff, and has a car that is HIGHLY effective now. Of course thereâs a certain element not happy with his choice, but whatever.
Unless you ordered a supercharger kit, 2000S4âs time isnât going anywhere any time soon. I say this because I know youâre not getting JHM tuned and youâre not getting JHM 2.75" catback and downpipes.
SoâŚwith that being said, whatâs cooking? Looking forward to seeing what youâve got on the go. I reckon clutchâŚnot sure about LWFWâŚlikely some kind of 2.5" exhaustâŚand a GIAC or APR or EPL tune. Close?
Lol, not another teaser just ordered in more parts. I now have kwâs v3, Spc upper control arms, clutchmasters clutch, Jhm flywheel, plenum spacers, l/w brake rotors, new motor mounts (stern), going to make my own down pipes and still working on finding a lw crank pulley. New track tires nt01 updated version . Next is a tune and set of wheels.
