Is-f guys? We went in the spring and there were 3 Is-f guys at Cayuga. Good fun. There’s a thread on the Is-f forum where we discuss it.

Sakimano, I saw another thread where u were interested in getting a bunch of ppl together to rent the track. I would be totally in for that. Even if we all just picked a date I woyld love to line up against other audi guys.

no its a GS430 supercharged (entirely unimpressive lol) and a 2014 is350 f sport not the f type. his best was 13.66 the other night, car 156 If hes on any of slips. I forget what the third guy drives now maybe a GS300.

That’s a good comparison because those cars are pretty quick and it will give you an idea of what you guys were losing to the heat.

They’re 306 hp and around 350lbs right. Basically they are stock 335 fast. 13.3-13.5 I believe but would like to confirm.

It’s always tough because it has to be a week day and it’s tough to get 15 guys or so.

Of course we also tend to go once or twice every fall on a regular test and tune Saturday so we will keep you in the loop on that.

Mistro - full JHM bolt on NA RS4
Axel - JHM SC B7 S4 avant
Bangoman - Stock (for now) B7 RS4
Me - JHM catted full exhaust B7 RS4

There are sometimes a couple of others like Cory with his stage 3 K04 B8 A4 Avant.
. I would like to get around 10 RS4s together one day. It’s hard because everyone seems to be a big fag about going to the strip.

Either
A) they’re too scared to hurt the car (you’re just accelerating lol)

B) they’re too scared to run shit times and realize their mods do nothing (think badbluers4 and daytonars4 types)

C) they’re asshole elitists who think they’re (or the rs4) above the dragstrip somehow

So we end up with the same few guys. It’s funny the jhm modded guys love the strip…because their parts work!

Lol well put. My motto has always been if u brake something u get to replace it with something better. Count me In for any drag days on Saturdays and if it’s through the week I just need some notice to book it off. I’m trying to arrange another one with my buddies (mostly lexus) I’ll always throw the invite out when I go. I got a few tricks up my sleeve I wanna try out. Also soon as I can make time I’ll get over to neetronics and get some dyno time. Curious to compare. Has anyone compared the high flow jhm cats to catless. Is there a noticeable difference?

I forget what everyone ran. I’ll make a note of it next time. I was faster than all ofem though by a good second. The only guy beating me was a twin turbo G8. He was all over the board though. 12 flat to 13.2.

curious, hows the h&r springs in a drag setting? anyone notice an improvement or hindrance?

Should be nothing… Although when mistro got his suspension on he was a bit quicker next time out. Must have been a coincidence.

Where are you getting your springs done?

I’ll doem myself. Shouldn’t take me more than half a day. I’ll also do the clutch and SC myself. I have a but load of tools and lots of know how. I got the b5 perches, h&r springs and I’m using the b7 isolators and changing my 6mm spacers to 10mm.

There’s also Jason at foreign auto here in kitchener he’s also a great guy. Had him do a heater core and thermostat on my b6 A4. Fuckin thing decided to spontaneously combust the other day on the 401. Ins says total loss.
