Yea lol I can post like my other 4 or 5 slips of 12.3s and 12.4s and one 12.6. Apparently someone didn’t know how to rip off the slips so someof them are cut off at the top where it shows the track name and date lol

For the 12.6 time, i don’t know why but lately my car has been hesitating and shifting slowly only during certain times. I narrowed it down to when the car is launched (with or without launch control) and the car is in S mode during the 1-2 shift.

I like the beeeeeeep, --> fuel gauge “30 miles” to go till empty in your video. 11.6 is retarded for just bolt ons, congrats!

Thanks! Unfortunately, the beep is the speed warning that I set not the fuel… I had 1/8 tank too much which cost me a hundreth or two… lol

As requested

And the slower times of the night…

Is that enough proof?

plenty

He asked because that’s the forum rule. It’s on page one/post one in case you want to have a look.

Thanks tins4! Sorry to hassle you. Those are some great times. Congrats!

No problem at all. I’m seeing what you’re talking about now - how it’s preferred to add the other slips.

Anyway, I’m very happy with the results given my setup. The last time I was at Englishtown, the car was 4155 lbs with me in it on their scale. I think it’s among the fastest 93 octane S4’s for Stage 1 and 2’s, at least according to the list on Audizine. Before I was always questioning whether if my car was truly slower than most other Stage 1’s - but if you look at most of the other times, they all ran in the winter, with probably awesome DAs just like mine last night.

It’s actually a straight up injen intake btw. I dont really care though lol

No idea what that is. You said awe at one point…so I have just copied over your mods as you hadn’t made changes, or so I thought.

I just to have just the AWE filter (not intake pipe). I have since switched it out and put in an Injen intake

It’s great to see some genuine competition between APR and Revo. And it’s great to see that competition at the strip. In case you missed it, there was a strong B8 showing at Cayuga in April: http://audirevolution.net/forum/index.php?topic=722.0 We got a lot of data that day! + karma bump for you, sir, for going fast!

I noticed he was at St. Thomas, just outside of London, Ontario. Hey bangoman…want to head out there in November? I have to go to a birthday party in London. Can’t remember the day, but it’s a Saturday. Nov 10th I think…

p.s. anyone know why St. Thomas also shows a 594 foot ET??? That’s 180 metres, but I have no idea why that would be significant.

Sounds good, I should be free that day. (Nov 10th) The dragway at Sparta is fun for sure! I wonder if this jones2012S4 car is the black one I see around. Did he post on AZ?

he’s from michigan. Not sure anything else about him.

Oh yeah. Forgot that we’re the nearest strip for a lot of people from MI. I’m always seeing American pickups with a trailer and a drag strip car at Port Huron/Sarnia. And they’re always having to go inside to chat to CBSA.

St. Thomas is listed as 853’, Cayuga is 600’. I’m wondering if it’s adjusted for comparison to Cayuga.

Adjusted how? It wouldn’t get certified by the nhra if it was cheating.

nevermind, after looking at the slip again…

I was thinking altitude, but it’s distance …DOH!!

594’ vs 660’ (1/8 mile) …I’m not sure of significance but it seems standard on many tracks.

EDIT: …found this:

".594 feet is the first light for calculating 1/8 mph…10% of 660’ is 66’, 660-66=594’. The mph is calculated with the tme between the 594’ light and the 660’ light. "
