B8.5 is somewhat irrelevant in my view, so I wouldn’t really worry too much about it. It’s basically headlamps and minor gearing changes on modified S4s. On the S5 it’s big of course as there’s a different engine but our list takes engine type into account in the vehicle category (S5 4.2 FSI vs. S5 3.0T for example)
As for the fastest facelift car, there are a few faster S4s. As mentioned, I don’t differentiate between 8.5 and 8 since it’s really just a cosmetic difference not a new generation

Traction was an issue that day, believe it or not - I just “mashed and went”, but on some of the runs I got wheelspin as the turbos spooled… Hard to say if there was any more in it, but probably no more than a tenth, regardless.
Pulls hard and sounds good doing it, though I have to say that it’s the only car I’ve ever owned where I’ve considered fitting an aftermarket exhaust…
