I honestly don’t think they’ve ever checked to see how many times the ECU was flashed. They may not even know how, lol. Even if their is a date/time log, 1 out of the 2 flashes that I know about should coincide with a dealer appt. Meaning, I flashed back to stock 1 minute before heading to the dealer who is ~10 minutes from my house. In addition, I know nothing of what you speak :).

At this point the head guy there has become even more personable with me telling me about his 6 sec pontiac. Yes he had a 6 second 1/4 dedicated drag car back in the day, 3 stages of NOS, big block etc. Showed me some polaroids of the car, crazy stuff. At any rate at this point he is fully supportive of getting my car back to the way it should be and making things right. I’m confident they won’t be digging for reasons to bail on me. Time will tell.

Damn that really sucks. Well at least Audi is doing the right thing by you and I hope it doesn’t take to long.

That’s the thing with manufacturers these days, they can’t afford to piss off people. That is why there is such a big emphasis on customer relations and customer retention.

In case anyone was wondering why there is so much crap shoved up against that wall I was in the process of reorganizing this garage and my side garage. It was mayhem during these pics. Then the UPS guy came and delivered 5 or more boxes - mostly RS stuff and some other parts for other hobby interests I have. It took me three days and I’m still not finished. Work in progress but I hope come spring time it will be the way I want it.

We need a photo comparo of JHM rs4 catback vs Milltek rs4 kind of like that strartling b6 Fast Intentions vs b6 Milltek. That was a real eye opener.

Most of the guys on rs246 suck Milltek’s dick all day and its hilarious.

rs246 is full of jack asses plain and simple. they are just too stupid for words. the real smart modders are the grassroot guys, people with vw, honda, nissan, toyota, etc that really know how to get the most from their buck.

well it’s weird, but it seems half of them are engineers, so you’d think they be able to figure out the milltek just doesn’t do enough for the RS4. The engineers we have on here are frigging brilliant (beemercer, andygs4 etc.) but the ones who hang at RS246 just all appear to be interested in stifling any valuable discussion. It’s pretty sad.

Just dropped the car off at the dealer so they can get back to diagnosing my long standing issue. They called Audi tech while i was there and started briefing them. I didn’t stick around but at least they agreed other parties need to be involved to get this sorted properly.

My service guy (the manager of service) is apologizing to me each time I show up. Even the tech came out to apologize today that it’s taken them so long and the issue isn’t resolved yet. While I don’t need an apology from anyone I did appreciate the sincerity. When this is all done and my car is fixed finally I’ll plan give them both a gift certificate for dinner somewhere. They’ve turned a new leaf over regarding attentiveness and professionalism which in the past I felt lacked a little bit. Either way I’m glad my car is back in the shop to resolve this. I know I’m not getting it back until its finsihed properly so I’ll sit back and be patient until they are done doing their thing.

I’ll update once I know somehting more.
