RS4 twin turbo kit.

Just when you thought this pile of shit guy couldn’t get any more lolz.

I’ll have to update the original post of this thread with some of the new facts on this guys bullshit here soon. As usual if you guys want to post screen shots of things you find important I’ll put them in the original post of this thread

who is lapkritis? this guy is a genius

Who knows…some annoying guy that likes to pretend like he knows stuff. He keeps making retarded comparisons of the RS4 BNS to other VAG engines he thinks he knows about.

He has like every car he has ever owned in his sig probably…I think he is probably just a lost A4 owner.

Did that thread get taken down?

No it’s still up

I found it a little bit afterwards, it is getting quite comical now, it is turning into a complete fail, spearheaded by Lapkritis. “All you need to do is find a good machine shop and shave a little here, rebush it and presto, you have a built motor”.

Would someone mind posting a link to said thread? I’m following it here in an effort to avoid that horrible forum, but now I want to go to the source. Thnx.

^^ Thank you.

He also thinks putting shorter rods would be less invasive than having custom pistons made for compression lol

Yeah it is very comical how much he thinks he knows

aroderick56, Noticed on vendorzine when getting caught up on the RS4 TT scam thread that you are from Chardon OH… I’m in Concord and go to Thompson dragway weekly, gray B8 S4 or Sepang TTRS… Let me know if you ever heading there and we could meet and make some passes, always looking to get some Audi guys at the strip… That is all now carry on…

talk about head up their ass, he comes on there saying “Longer rods increase piston speed” and “like a record player, shorter rods will slow piston speed down” and finally “since rod piston travel is the same, the speeds stay the same”…though the thread he posted clearly states the exact opposite on every account.

I quite like guys like him. Where three and a half years ago or so he could not figure out how to put a spare on his 98 A4 due to the larger front brakes and called a tow truck instead of swapping a wheel from the rear and putting a spare on there, now he advises and trying to teach others on engine builds of a car he doesn’t own… Sense this makes none, sigh.

Not sure if you remember, I PM’d you awhile back about going. Car is running well right now so definitely soon trying to get out to the strip. What nights do you go? I think Wednesday is the grudge night but I work until 6 over off brookpark and w 130th. Been busy getting the race car ready for end of May so havent had a chance to get out there.

yeah but the information he found on another forum MUST be correct!

the changing rod length to reduce CR idea is curious, muscle car guys will play with it to tailor the power curve of their engine to what kind of racing they do

http://www.stahlheaders.com/lit_rod%20length.htm

Changing rod length will change more than just CR which lapkrits isn’t factoring into his equations, at least from my understanding after talking to Dean last night about it.

Dean has never built a BNS or any Audi motor before but he does build good gm, ford, and mopar motors. Being a friend of mine, its nice when I have engines questions I can just txt him about it. Heres the beginning of our conversation until he called me about other things going on.

But I think most of us agree on lapkitits at this point…

From a motor building and seemingly every other aspect that Lapkritis guy has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s another excited but uneducated idiot that wasn’t to post to see his words show up on screen.

Google is helpful when your smart harmful when your Lapkritis. When he posts it’s like someone talking about a classic book that they read the cliff notes on but someone ripped out 2/3 of the pages on the cliff notes.

Anything that idiot posts is just like the other uneducated kids that tell you how simple something is when they can’t even find there drain plug.

Changing rod length will effect things and none of them will be helpful. As there is something called a piston to rod stroke ratio. But to help all those who don’t want to read a 50 page essay by me on motor building. If you change something on the rod you need to change the area on the piston to make up for the difference. There is a calculation that has to have the piston deck a certain distance from the chamber for combustion to properly happen. Always remember that there’s a calculation depending on chamber size heads etc etc that say your piston deck needs to be at a specific distance. YOU CANT CHANGE THAT OR YOU Won’t HAVE PROPER COMBUSTION IF YOU EVEN GET COMBUSTION AT ALL. THAT MOTOR BUILDING 101

If you make the rod longer and don’t do anything with the piston the piston slams into the cylinder heads. If you just make the rod shorter you don’t have the needed quench area needed for combustion and basically your motor will constantly back fire and never make positive rotational power.

When you make a stroker motor you use a different crankshaft rod and piston. That’s how you change the piston to rod stroke ratio.

So basically Lapkritis just kinda made up stuff as he went. This isn’t new there base been long list of dumb A4 guys they step in and just babble. I remember one classic A4 guy said he could put a 2.7t in a b6 S4 for 1000$ and make more power then the v8 guys. It’s easy to say when you talk out your ass. This particular A4 guy did actually end up trying to prove a point to all the v8 guys. Well 13,000$ later he sold a not so great running b6 s4 with a 2.7t in it.

Ah yes now I do and I have your contact information so my apologies… I’ll just shoot you pm’s whenever I plan to go in case you want to make a trip out… I’ll be there Wed.

Since the beginning of time, every thread in the audizine b6/b7 s4 / rs4 category with turbo in title draws in all the B5 / A4 fanboys ready to teach, and it just never seems to end well. It’s almost like there is a notification system setup in the background to send them all PM’s - “Time to engage!” 4.2 guys thread with turbo"!
