That looks like a B5 avant. It’s like a unicorn, a B5 S4 that didn’t blow up just by accelerating down the strip. I hear if you take a B5 to the strip it’s bound to break an axel, smoke the clutch, eat the trans, and blow the motor, and that’s just while in the staging lane!

here is outcome… wish we could get higher speeds but the cars ahead of us braked to 20mph rolls so we could not go for top end pulls.

he just posted above that he went 12.1 @ 116 at the strip in his car on his old stage 1 setup, so I wouldn’t bet so fast on the S4.
Don’t forget that they just ran from 30 mph and the BMW won handily, and also don’t forget that he drives a 550xi. He has AWD.
Here he is at the strip. No problem getting off the line at all. I doubt that s4 is going to make up 3 car lengths in the first 30 feet on that launch. I think it’s pretty straightforward on the likely outcome.

He broke his old record, new is 11.9@117 I think. Should add that my 2-3 synchros are shot hence me falling back so much. You should post the 60 rolls we did where I was able to gain 3/4 cars on you. I don’t really have any plans to go any further in this car. I think I’m done with it
Apexit, you guys ran from 50mph in the second run he posted. Did you start in 2nd on that or 3rd?
What gas were you guys running, and what gas did he run where he went 11.9 @ 117?
We did a few 40-60 rolls.
I was on 3/4 tank of pump, I assume he was too. I think his 11.9 was on pump.
The videos came out very dark i took 2 most clean looking ones from about 6 runs… our runs ware very short and they ended very fast didnt even look like runs on video.
I ran 11.9 @117 on 93 and 11.9 @ 119 on race gas mix as i am bet tester i had to test a few settings for the tune manufacturer. That S4 still moves by far one of the best match up for me to date.
