Teaser: APR 3.0 TFSI Stage III Supercharger System

yes, but that was not my point either (that APR hasn’t squeezed big gains from the B8…obviously they have). You found Richi’s comments about APR being stage III when GIAC isn’t even stage II comical. I really don’t put much merit in those comments personally. I can happily drive my RS4 stock for another 6-12 months while I wait to see how all the options for making it better pan out. I don’t think you win any medals or awards for being the first to put out a product. You do however get lauded for putting out the best product.

Look around…everyone has had success with the B8. GIAC is killing it. REVO is killing it (figuratively and literally).

My point was that while APR may have been first out, that doesn’t mean they’re best out. Let’s see what the other guys do and then decide if we can mock them for being slower than APR.

Go back…is ANYONE mocking JHM right now in the B6/7 world for not having the first tune back at the 2004 Audiworld dyno day? Hell no. Nobody gives a shit. Same goes for JHM’s B5 stuff or EPL/AMD in the B5 game. Nobody is saying ‘lol at JHM/EPL/AMD for not having B5 stuff until 2007 when APR/AWE had it in 2004. I will stick with the first guys out of the blocks and be slower even though better options came after’

Richi, post pics of these aquariums…

Whoa, missed a lot. Cheers to see Richi back here…I think your car has an 11 in it already, if you could launch it and your clutch is up to it. Like I said in another post, you slips from ATCO showed a damn fast car.

Saki, you gotta end this charade and get a B8 S4…especially if the bigger blower comes to this platform soon… I’m only partially joking…

V1 to V2, I improved from a 12.26 (with a 1-2 shift at 5000rpm) to a 12.08, at pretty identical traps 114.8 vs 115.1. It wasn’t groundbreaking.

I think it’s been pretty much proven, (at least by my buddy tribe) that in next-day runs, REVO 93 is faster than REVO 100…

with yellow rubber duckies floating on top

Richi needs to start two new threads - one for aquariums and one for rc cars…

What charade?

No v8/v10, no want.

Can’t get any simpler.

gas or electric? I have about 25K worth of electric cars and helicopters in my basement… been playing with RC’s for about 20+ years… most prefer gas but I always had electric so I stuck with them, much cleaner but not as fast… We have a few nice off road dirt tracks around here plus a ton of metro parks with some killer terain…

Holy crap!

LOL! yeah that is pretty much what my wife says… Now that I have a son I have an excuse to keep playing with them and get him into it… I am really going to influence him on cars and speed so that he and I can get go-karts and do some racing… One of the best go kart tracks in the MW is on the same property as Thompson dragstrip… I’m in the office now and have a x-mas party this afternoon but I’ll get some pics of the RC’s and post them…

ugh dont get me started, ive been in RC for 18 years now. gas nitro and electric, on road off road, scale semi’s and tanks you name it ive built it, close to about 120 kits throughout my life lol. the last 5 years or so ive ditched most and strictly build 1/5th scales. idk who told you gas is faster but they’re waaaaay off. brushless lipo cars can hit 100mph easy, i have a 1/8th scale short course truck that if i could keep the power on the ground(literally) it would hit close to 100mph(not scale mph either).

my billet buggy on the left and my carbon beast on the right ;D
sak ill get some pics of the tank tonight, sandy destroyed my last tank entirely minus a few shrimp and snails. im in the process of cycling a new 55 gallon rimless reef tank that just got some live stock of crabs and shrimp the other day.

im done derailing haha

Ha, I’ve reduced my collection but still enjoy them once in a while. I also have both nitro and electric. I 100% agree that brushless motor / lipo powered electric vehicles are much faster than their gas powered counterparts. Even the OTS versions are much faster. The 100MPH comment is not an exagferationn. Just look up the Traxxas XO-1, 1/7 scale on road car. Out of the box (after a download of an app) the car will do 100MPH in something ridiculous like 4.9 seconds.

I truly am an overgrown kid when it comes to these types of hobbies/toys. Thank God I have nephews who are as obsessed as I once was who now give me a legit excuse to take them out and have fun.

Sorry - back on topic. ;D

hahaha normally you would be right in your assumption but no not this time lol. i was reworking the plumbing for my sump system as earlier that day 8 gallons of water went missing… my neighbor downstairs found it all in there bathroom downstairs… lol thats a union slip joint with a small section of nylon tubing

I knew someone would comment on that thinking it might be something other than what it actually is. lol.

well it looks like either some sort of industrial dildo or a bong lol

reworking the plumbing for your sump system? That sounds complicated. That sounds like a phone call to me. I don’t mess with my electricity or plumbing at home. If it can electrocute me or flood the house, I call in a professional.

ahh, sorry, thought you were talking about your house. Didn’t realise it was for the tank.

winterrunner, RS4 owner, has a crazy shrimp as a pet. It’s some kind of aggressive killer lol.

he flkicks his tail at them and obliterates them…it’s nuts. Apparently if you grab him it’s quite possible to have your fringer broken, that’s how violent it is. Pretty funny.

Sorry to interrupt, gents, would it be off-topic to bring up the possibility of the S4 stock 1320 module on the 3.2 FSI? Lol, maybe a new thread is required. Anyhoo…would make the cost of this blower a lot more feasible.

i believe there was an a5 guy trying to do this job.
