Are all 3.2FSI’s using the Conti? I can understand the Q5, maybe the B8 cars, but even the B7s and C6s?
You know, it’s just not APR’s style (in my eyes) on this kind of project - APR would spend WAAAYYY to much time, engineering, money to make sure it’s a perfect system that has been thoroughly tested. Your overheads and margins are just too high for this sort of work, and nobody will spend what will likely approach $8000 on this system from APR…
This is more of a hack for a smaller shop to do, make a name for themselves on a relatively slim margin. Say a $3000 kit which consists of injectors, tuning, pump and HX for the intercooler, the necessary sensors and the OEM pulley parts, assuming they are different.
So seriously, was conti on ALL of the 3.2FSIs, or just the last couple models like the Q5? I see references to MED9.5, I didn’t make that up myself.
