Yeah we are gonna retest the Revo DSG stage 1 93 car, GIAC stage 1/ 93 tune/6MT, hopefully we can get Paul out to finally do a full RS4 run.

Temps will be in mid 60s at night.

Some interesting vbox 60-130 data I saw on some competitors. I know you cant really compare to our strip but still pretty cool.

Regarding the M3 comment, I find people think that if they pass a guy on the highway and said guy pursues but does not catch him by 130mph mark (or whenever they let off) it is a clear sign that their car has superior power! ::slight_smile: LOL! Bottom line your data shows that our cars show well at the strip but probably would get hammered in the standing mile!

Yeah I have run two pretty modded E92 M3s (DCT) from roll… and I will confirm that past 120-130 they will pull on us hard. Only jump we get is early on- after 100 it’s already gaining ground.

Can’t use those tests really due to gear selection…i.e. If someone asked me to do a 60-130 I am not sure I would do it from second gear like the rs4 test you posted did

I also don’t think it would take two seconds longer than an …rs5.a car that traps the same an rs4

That rd 4 in the test was same mph as my car in the quarter mile but four tenths slower.

Agree- but wouldn’t that matter less with the dual clutch auto cars? Revo DSG car we tested had pretty similar times going from dig and roll and extrapolating times.

Rs4 is manual and shifting takes about half a second for most folks…as I said not sure…but I wouldn’t use it to compare. Get Paul to be a Guinea pig

on last test did one run starting in 3rd gear (Run 1) and one run starting in 2nd (Run 2)… I think times were pretty close (60-120 at least). Confirming order from him but I think that was it.

He was on his way on running a 14.8-14.9 (vmax was 129.67mph ) that night.

Hopefully Paul makes it out one night. Getting him out is like pulling teeth ;D ;D

Tony is stock ISH…but not stock. I bet his mods save a few tenths. I’m trying to find how the rs5 is faster by so much…makes no sense.

Don’t say dsg…that’s good for maybe two tenths per shift but reversing loss means it should actually hurt the car most of the time in a one shift rip from 60_130.

Hey Tsivas… I’m still happy to come out to Long Island if you need to test. I have a 2011 DSG S4 with the GIAC tune…

If those stats for the rs5 ate accurate that is pretty awesome for a “not FI thus fail” NA car. Becoming tuned and decatted. Should threaten the elevens with that plus some lightweight parts. Forged internals plus a strong supercharger…cool car.

Can’t wait to see what the rs4 (2013) does.

Lol I know. Don’t understand the hate either. The race described on there that also happened last night went to about 145 (not 120) and was about 3 cars lead. Not bad at all if u ask me. Keep telling him to finally do the piggie pipes and get that damn JHM 93 tune when it eventually comes out.
